“Choong…” Saya mengangguk dengan Jordan, Ireland Isabella’s husband…

It never crossed my mind bila Holland said few months back dengan nada suram…
“he’s family… he’s my sister’s husband’s brother… which makes him our brother…”

Fikiran saya sangat bercelaru masa tu I didn’t had time to think that one day I’ll meet Bella again…

hahaha! Memang saya sama Sydney the hottest boys in school dulu dan kami memang berkawan… but awal lagi Sydney and Chester warning everyone not to kacau their sister… 🙄 spoiler kan....

Masa tu Bella baru form 1, tapi kecantikan dia sampai form 6 pun tergila-gilakan dia….

Unfortunately, she’s a Robinson… walaupun keluarga kami tidak bermusuhan, but no Bestians can marry a Robinson… the family of outlaws and the family of law just won’t work…

AH, IT WAS JUST CRUSHING ON A PRETTY GIRL… no harm done… 🙄

Our memories? Memories of saya crushing after her lah apa lagi… oh and the songs we sing together masa school sambil saya melepak sama Sydney… tsk tsk…

“Bestian…” Jordan’s voice mematikan lamunan saya…

Jordan sedang memegang sekeping kertas dan dia menghulurkan kertas tersebut kepada saya…

Saya menerima kertas itu dari tangan Jordan… it’s Uncle Harren’s discharge note…

“Thanks…” saya looked at Jordan…

Dr. Jordan Choong… it amazed me, this guy not only captured the heart of the beautiful Ireland Isabella Robinson, but he captured the hearts of all the Robinsons….

I bet he is one hell of a great guy... More reason untuk saya yakin Captain Jason Choong is a perfect match for Holly… I can already see he is a great dad to Joshua… Holly need only to put aside her stubbornness… 😒

“Much welcome…” Jordan replied… “Ehemm...” He cleared his throat…

Saya meneliti wajah dia, macam dia ada sedikit tidak selesa…. Seakan dia mau mengatakan sesuatu tapi masih membisu…. Saya tersenyum miring… 😏

“Send my regards to your wife…” saya bilang…

“You can send it yourself, she’s your lawyer…” okay… so saya berjaya memancing apakah punca ketidakselesaan dia… tsk tsk tsk…

“Ahh, you’re right… I’ll meet her after this…” saya bilang, tersenyum sambil kegelian hati mau irritate dia… dia menarik nafas tajam…

“Bestian…” menahan amarah ka tu, doc?
“Call me Hudson…” saya bilang…

“I want you to know I don’t take it lightly when it concerns my wife…” ada amaran ka tu di suara dia?

“well noted…” saya mengenyitkan mata and walked away, enjoying his tenseness… 😆

One week later….

Saya masuk kereta and start my engine…

I was just from Sydney Robinson’s office untuk mengambil satu lagi sampul dari Sydney yang dia lupa memberikan kepada saya during Bella’s birthday…

oh, there’s another sampul Sydney bilang untuk Holly…

“I’ll stand on Holly’s side…” Sydney bilang… “Bella wouldn’t want to offend her husband…”
