"Mom!" Too voices yelled from across the parking lot and Lexa and I immediately spotted Aden and Madi. We sprinted towards them at full speed and quickly moved to lift them into our arms and hug them.

"Madi. Thank god you're ok." I mumbled, squeezing my daughter maybe just a little too tight.

"Of course I'm ok mommy. Aden and I were with Grandma. I missed you though."

I set Madi down on the ground and Lexa placed Aden next to her.

"What are you talking about Madi? You don't have a grandma."

"Yes I do! Grandma Geda!" Madi cheered happily.

I looked at Lexa worriedly and then back at Madi.

"Aden. Who is grandma Geda?" Lexa asked cautiously.

"Don't be silly mom. You know who grandma Geda is. She said you were best friends."

"Wait a second grandma Geda is both of your Grandma's?" I asked, super confused.

"Yeah." Madi confirmed, nodding her head like it was obvious. "Grandma Geda said we can be brother and sister If we want and I love Aden." Madi smiled, moving to give Aden a kiss on the forehead.

I know I should be very concerned right now but I couldn't help but stop and smile for a second. Lexa and I have adorable children. I love that they think of each other as siblings. It's so cute. I looked over at Lexa who was also looking down at Madi and Aden with soft eyes.

"What did Grandma Geda do to you?" I asked once I had refocused Madi who's eyes widened.

"She didn't do anything wrong mommy. We met her at the park after Aunt Raven and Aunt Octavia took us there to play. She told us she was our grandma and offered to take us to get ice cream. It was soo good mommy. I got chocolate and Aden gotvanilla and I spilled a little in Grandma's car but she didn't even get mad." Madi explained grinning.

"Madi you and Aden can't just leave with strangers in the park. Lexa and I got really worried because we didn't know where you two were." I tried to tell Madi, not wanting to get angry with my daughter who I'm sure didn't know any better.

"What Clarke is saying is true Aden. You and Madi have to stay safe ok?" Lexa asked.

I watched as Aden and Madi both nodded their heads.

"Where did you guys go after ice cream?" Lexa asked.

"We went to an office where our other aunts and uncles work." Madi explained. "Then Grandma Geda dropped us off here and said she had to go."

"Wait a second. Your other aunts and uncles? Who are they?" I questioned the kids who were surprised when they realized I didn't know.

"Yeah, uncle Roan and Aunt Ontari." Aden clarified.

I looked at Lexa to see if those names sounded familiar and I could tell by her expression she knew exactly who these people are.

I wanted to take Lexa away and ask her what she knew but that wasn't my top priority. I won't be taking my eyes off of Madi anytime soon. Whoever these people are can wait because I won't leave my daughter's side again unless absolutely necessary.

"Clarke, Madi, will you two please come with Aden and I back to our place? I need to talk with you Clarke and Madi this way you can play with Aden."

I watched as Madi nodded eagerly, and the thought of being close to Lexa made me feel a lot safer so I nodded too.

We said thank you to a few agents including Agent Diyoza who we planned to meet with in the next few days to talk about the kidnappers but for now we just needed to be with our kids. Lexa called us a car and we all got in and rode back to Lexa's place.

In the car ride over, I texted Bellamy, Murphy, Raven, Lincoln and Octavia, letting them all know the kids were ok and that we were going back to Lexa's place to spend some time with them.

When we got to the house, we all walked inside and made our way into the living room where we all sat on the couch to relax a little. Lexa turned on a movie and I watched as the kids moved to lay on the carpet and watch the tv screen with curious eyes.

I'm so extremely thankful they are ok and safe. I feel like I can't take my eyes off of Madi but I eventually realized I have to pee super bad. I decide to stand up and use the restroom. When I was done washing my hands I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I don't look so good right now. It's Clear I've been extremely stressed out lately, and I know I just need to calm down. I decided to splash some water on my face and then wipe it off with a towel. When I was done I looked into the mirror again. "It's ok Clarke." I told myself. "They're safe."

Unfortunately those words weren't enough to clam me down and I needed to make sure Madi and Aden were in the living room safe and sound. I practically sprinted back into the living room and my eyes widened when I saw they weren't there anymore. They were just laying down on the carpet a few minutes ago. Now they aren't here. I felt my heart almost give out on me but then I heard a familiar voice from behind me.

"I hope you don't mind Clarke but Aden and Madi fell asleep and I wanted them to be comfortable so I put them in the bunk beds in Aden's room." Lexa explained.

When I turned around to face Lexa she noticed I wasn't doing so well and quickly ran over to comfort me. I burst out sobbing and fell into her strong arms, no longer able to keep my composure.

"Hey it's ok Clarke." Lexa assured me, gently running a hand through my hair as I cried into her neck. "They are safe now Clarke. I'm so sorry for scaring you." Lexa apologized.

I pulled away from the hug and shook my head. "It's not your fault Lex. I'm just scared."

"I know Clarke. I'm scared too. We will get through this together though ok? I'm not leaving your side."

"Don't make promises you can't keep Lexa. You have a billion dollar tech company to run. It's ok. I understand you can't stay by my side."

"Fuck Firestorm! All I care about right now is you, Madi, and Aden. Everything and everyone else can wait."

Somehow those words comforted me more then I could have ever imagined and I quickly moved to pull Lexa into a hug again.

"Today really sucked." I mumbled into her neck.

"I know. I'm so sorry."
