I looked down from the scroll to see Lexa kneeling down on the floor.

"What do you say Clarke? Wanna get married?"

"Yes!" I exclaimed happily, tackling Lexa onto the floor in a big hug. We both laughed and rolled around on the floor a few times until Lexa was hovering over me. We paused for a second just staring into each others eyes, happier than we could have ever imagined being. I couldn't take the wait any longer though, and pulled Lexa down towards me by the back of her neck, pressing her lips against my own. I felt sparks and butterflies and every other good feeling you could feel kissing someone just like it was the first time. It wasn't the first time though and it certainly wouldn't be the last.

When we pulled away I noticed Lexa's eyes were teary and I watched as she moved a hand to my face.

"You're crying." She whispered, gently wiping a tear from my cheek with her thumb.

"They are happy tears. I'm so happy Lexa. You make me so Fucking happy."

"Clarke you make me so happy too. I love you."

"I love you too Lexa." I said, sitting up and pulling Lexa up with me. "I can't believe that scroll was in there all along. You are absolutely incredible Lex. What did I ever do to deserve you?"

"Clarke you're not the one marrying up here. I am. I mean you are wayyy out of my league."

"What? No you are Lexa."

"I promise Clarke, you are way better than me."

"Ok, you've convinced me." I joked, leaning forward slightly and pressing my forehead to Lexa's as I giggled, anticipating Lexa's adorable reaction that would soon follow.

"Hey, you're supposed to argue with me and say that I'm out of your league." Lexa pouted.

"Oh was I?"

"Yes of course." Lexa smiled.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked, moving my hand to lift up the bottom of Lexa's shirt.

"I Uh...no." Lexa stuttered, clearly distracted by my seductive advances. I moved my hand to Lexa's perfectly molded abs, letting my fingers glide gently over her smooth skin.

"Clarke." Lexa breathed out, clearly having a hard time controlling herself.

I moved forward slightly and let my lips brush against lexa's ear before hovering them next to it. "We are going to have a fantastic married life." I whispered, immediately satisfied with Lexa's reaction when I noticed her cheeks turn a dark shade of pink.

"What did she say?!" A bunch of voices yelled from outside, making Lexa and I pull away and laugh again and totally ruin our dirty mood.

"We should probably go out there."

"Can't we just stay here Lex? I want you all to myself."

"Clarke you just agreed to marry me. You'll have me all to yourself every single day. In the mean time though-"

Lexa swept me up off of my feet and into her arms bridal style, surprising me and causing me to shriek, embarrassingly.

"Let's go tell everyone the news shall we."

Lexa took off running with me in her arms before I could answer, trying to squirm and get out although secretly I enjoyed being wrapped up in her arms.

She carried me outside where all of our family and friends were waiting eagerly and set me down next to her in the snow.

"She said yes!"

Aden and Madi were the first to run up to us but they were clearly having trouble running in the thick snow so Lexa and I met them half way.

We hugged our children, completely basking in the happy feelings we all felt. Nothing could compare. This was true happiness.

After getting congratulations from everyone and exchanging hugs and handshakes, we all played around outside in the snow a little. The kids were having a great time and we helped them build snowmen and other things from the snow. At one point Murphy started a snowball fight which ended up firing into an all out snowball war. Marcus actually ended up hitting Jasper right in the face and Madi and Aden physically couldn't stop laughing for like 10 minutes which made everyone else fall to the ground laughing too, effectively ending the snow war.

After our fun in the snow was over we decided to head out for a big lunch together. Sitting down at that table with my family and friends and realizing that I wasn't going to lose them like I have lost others in my life was one of the best feelings in world. I'd never have to worry about being alone ever again. I have finally found my people.

After lunch we said goodbye to everyone and took the kids home. They were pretty exhausted from the eventful day and Lexa and I were too so we decided to all go to the living room and watch a movie. Madi, Aden, Chewy and Harold were all lying on the carpet watching while Lexa and I were cuddled up together on one of the couches. It reminded me of right after the kidnapping when we came here and did the same thing. So much has changed since then. Now we don't have to worry about Finn or Nia or Lincoln. Now I just get to enjoy being pressed up against Lexa, wrapped in her strong arms knowing I am truly safe with her.

I fell asleep in Lexa's arms completely content with every single part of my life. I'm getting married to the love of my life, how could this possibly get better? Little did I know that it could and would. I just had to wait and see.
