"What did I possibly do to deserve that?" Lexa asked, walking into the kitchen where I was sitting at the table drinking a glass of water. I was somewhat pleased to know my actions in my bedroom had affected Lexa this much but I tried not to seem too smug.
"Well the bragging about all of your childhood accomplishments certainly played a roll in why I did that but it was also just funny." I admitted, taking another sip of water.
Lexa rolled her eyes and moved to sit next to me. "Ok fine, I kind of deserved that."
"Kind of?"
"Ok I definitely deserved that. I'm sorry Clarke."
"It ok Lexa. Let's just focus on our children's kidnapping right now. I can't be anymore distracted at the moment."
"I distract you?" Lexa asked flirtatiously, biting on her lip and then looking away.
"Stop it." I giggled, smacking Lexa on the arm.
"Ok I'm done now." Lexa said, raising her hands in surrender. "Unless..."
"No."
Lexa gave me a pouty face and I couldn't help but notice how good she is at puppy eyes. I immediately wanted to just apologize and give her a bunch of hugs and kisses but I know I shouldn't. Before I could do or say anything, Lexa and I heard the door bell and we both looked at the other surprised.
"Lex who is that?" I asked, becoming scared when I realized it might be related to the kidnapping.
"I don't know. I'm not expecting anyone. Clarke listen to me very carefully." I looked Lexa in the eyes and nodded my head to show I was listening. "I'm going to answer the door. Stay here and hide. Do not make a sound until I come get you."
I wanted to tell Lexa her plan was stupid and convince her to let me go with her, but I knew that would never happen. I reluctantly agreed to her plan and watched as Lexa left the kitchen and walked towards the front of the house.
I tried to stay put. I really did try. Unfortunately I didn't try hard enough though because I noticed my feet were moving and the next thing I knew I was hiding by the staircase watching Lexa open the door. I have absolutely no self control when it comes to Lexa's safety.
I watched as Lexa pulled the door open and was surprised to see, standing in front of her there was a beautiful woman with dark brown hair and jeans and a white T-shirt.
"Lexa. I'm here to speak with you there is something you need to-"
Before the woman could finish, I watched as Lexa punched her in the face super hard and she fell to the ground screaming out and clutching her nose.
"What the fuck Lexa! I'm trying to help you!" The woman yelled, covering her nose.
"Ontari your family kidnapped my childr- I mean my son! I'm going to kill you!" Lexa yelled, grabbing Ontari off of the ground and pulling her up from her shirt.
"Lexa stop!" I yelled, making my presence known to both girls and running to shut the front door.
"Clarke get out of here." Lexa tried to order me but I didn't budge.
"You sure are pretty blondie." Ontari smirked, giving me a flirtatious wink.
I could clearly see the pure venom in Lexa's eyes when Ontari tried fo flirt with me and it almost felt good in a strange way to have Lexa protecting me. "Shut up Ontari." Lexa snarled, slamming her against the wall.
"Oh come on Lexa. Your hostess skills have certainly taken a decline since the last time I saw you. The last time you slammed me against a wall I'm pretty sure I said thank you."
