A/N: Hey everyone!  Thanks again for voting on these last few chapters.  I'm super excited for you guys to read this one (stuff is about to go down at the Yule Ball...).  I want to give a shoutout to autumnthesimp for voting on all of the chapters!  Thank you so much!  I will be trying to write this week, but it will be hard for me to update because of school.  Most updates will happen on weekends, but I will try to squeeze at least one during this week.  Thanks for the support!

Christmas arrived at Hogwarts. We woke up to presents underneath the tree in our common room, and fruitcake for breakfast (which I gladly threw away in the trash).  However the reason for the season this year was a bit different, because all anyone could talk about was the upcoming Yule Ball.

For christmas my family had gifted me beautiful black stilettos to go with my dress.  I owled them back with a thank you card and hand sewn socks for each of my family members.

The rest of the day was spent getting ready for the ball.  Hannah Abbott helped me do my makeup, a natural look that still enhanced my features quite a bit.  I curled my hair and brushed it out, pulling out a few strands to go in the front of my face.  I struggled to get my dress on but managed to get inside of it.  I then slipped on my gloves, put my shoes on and by the time I was all done there was only a half an hour left before the ball.

I made my way down the dungeons, whispered the password "Pure-blood" and went inside.

Draco was sitting on the couch speaking with Crabbe and Goyle when he looked up at me and smiled.  I had to admit his reaction was a bit underwhelming compared to Cedrics, but nonetheless, I smiled back at him.  His dress robes were surprisingly nice on him, based on his sketch I thought he was going to look silly, maybe Draco was just a bad artist.

He handed me a brilliant corsage, with the most gorgeous white roses.  I pinned one onto his robe and we held hands as we left the common room and went to the dance.

The Great Hall was magnificently decorated, the Hogwarts staff had truly outdone themselves.  It seemed as if I had stepped into an ice palace.  My eyes immediately went to the horderves, I grabbed a bite to eat while Malfoy saved us a table.

"Make that a table for four!  Cedric is coming with Cho Chang!"  I shouted to Draco from across the room.

"Wait, Cho Chang doesn't like Harry anymore?"

"I guess not!"

Pleasantly surprised, Draco picked out a table next to the dance floor and waited for me to return with some drinks.

I handed him some punch as we eagerly awaited for the Champions to arrive to perform the first dance.

The room went silent as the music began to play when the Champions entered the Great Hall. Fleur Delacour came out with Roger Davies, all of the girls in the room admired her beauty, even in a simple blue gown she managed to be the Belle of the Ball.

Next was Victor Krum and Hermione Granger, and she looked absolutely stunning, even Draco didn't have anything rude to say about her.

"She's beautiful!"  I said to him, to which I received no reply.  A new idea sparked in my head, maybe Draco could fall in love with Hermione!

Then came out Cedric Diggory with Cho Chang.  Everyone gasped, the two of them looked amazing together.  Being the most attractive and popular kids at school, it was a match made in heaven.  I was supposed to be happy for Cedric, he'd finally found his perfect girl, but for some reason I wanted to cry.

Last came Harry Potter with Parvati Patil.  Harry looked at Cedric with envy and Draco couldn't keep his eyes off of the two of them.  I imagined that he was conjuring up an insult, and I saw it best to distract him before he got into another fight.
