You Know I Love You, Right? (Cedric Diggory x Reader)

Chapter 21

I woke up in a random room, unaware of where I was, I scanned around the area looking for a clue as to where on Earth I had just woken up.  It looked similar to my dorm, but I knew I wasn't there because there was no sight of my owl, Zeus.  I saw a pair of trousers on the floor and knew instantly that I was in the boy's dormitory.  I looked down and saw myself wearing an oversized Hufflepuff t-shirt, which I recognized immediately.

It was Cedric's.

I started to panic, what was I doing in his room?  And why was I wearing his shirt?  Had I- had we? I tried to remember what had happened last night but it all seemed like a blur.  The last thing I could recall was Fred and George coming into the Hufflepuff common room with alcohol.  I smacked myself on the head, I couldn't remember anything because I was drunk.  I just hoped I hadn't done anything stupid, although sitting here in Cedric's bed I was pretty sure that I had.

Speak of the devil, Cedric came into the room.  He was careful as he stepped in.  He slowly shut the door to make sure it didn't slam.

"Cedric?"

He jumped backwards, shocked at the fact that I was awake.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up."

"It's fine, I was already awake when you came in."

He sighed and we didn't say a word to each other.  I decided to address the elephant in the room.

"So, why exactly am I in your room wearing your shirt?"

"Oh right, about that.  Last night you just completely passed out, but it was so late that I thought it would be rude to wake up your roommate by bringing you to your dorm, so I brought you to mine instead."

Still not satisfied with his answer, I pointed to his shirt that covered my torso.

"I forgot you were wearing that," He let out a small laugh, "You mumbled to me at around three in the morning, telling me your tank top was too uncomfortable to sleep in, so I gave you one of my shirts."

I had a sigh of relief, "So that means that we didn't-"

"No!  Absolutely not, I would never.  Especially since you were so drunk."

I laughed, "That's right.  Good Merlin, I had so much to drink I can't remember anything from last night!"

"You- you can't?"  He seemed a bit upset about this.

"Well I can remember one thing..."

His eyes brightened, a large smile spread across his face. "What is it?  What do you remember?"

"I'm pretty sure I did a backflip."

He seemed disappointed at my answer, but what did he want me to say?  Although, his face began to lighten as he focused on the memory.

"You did not!  You said you were going to but you just jumped face first off of a table!"

We both laughed, I couldn't believe I had done something so outrageous.

"Well, I can only assume that we made up last night, right?"

"I guess you could say that..."

"Well, you deserve an apology from me when I'm sober."

Here goes nothing.

"The truth is, when you started dating Cho, I got jealous.  You spent so much time together that you used to spend with me.  However, I've realized something."
