Killua was on the ground coughing up just a little blood. He got some unwanted visitors but they just beat the crap out of him.
"W-What...What are m-my choices...?" Staring up at his brother, father, and grandfather their eyes held no emotions. "There are only two," Zeno said while stepping forward.
"Break up with Kazue's child and you don't have to come home for now or if you don't we'll kill her and drag you back home along with Alluka."
Killua heart dropped as he stared up at his grandfather. 'Break up with Y/n..? Or she dies.'
"Why!? Why should I have to!?"
"Because a business deal went south so the L/n family is no longer useful to us."
Tears pooled in his eyes as he looked down to the ground. "We trust you will make the right decision young Killua." The three of them walked out apartment the young boy lives in.
"Y/n....I-I'm s-so sorry!" Getting up off the floor Killua had to prepare for one of the worst days in his life.
You just came home from the hospital after visiting Himari for the third time today. She's been having seizures back to back but they finally got her stable. Walking up to your house you noticed Killua on your porch.
"Kitty?" Killua tensed up from your voice. Looking up his blue eyes met your crystal ones. "Why are you here so late? Where's Alluka?" You asked.
Sitting down on the porch as well you placed your hand on his shoulder. "Alluka is sleeping over at a friends for a few nights." He mumbled.
"Do you want to come in? I can make something." Killua shook his head remembering the reason to why he was really here. "Y/n...I don't love you anymore so there's no point in staying together." His monotone voice held no hint of joking.
Your eyes widen as tears slowly made their way down your face. Biting the inside of your cheek you stood up.
Killua made the mistake of looking up because he almost cried when he made eye contact with your dull eyes. "Ok...I understand Killua." You said before walking into your house.
The moment you closed your door you slid down to the floor and cried. Killua on the other hand was already gone. He thought he cried enough earlier but the tears kept coming.
"I'm so sorry Y/n...But I didn't want you to die."
