After reaching my revelation that night, things have become... awkward to say the least. I feel like I don't know how to interact with him and he apparently feels the same. Even the way we have been texting was off. Whenever I saw his name on my phone, I felt my heart race and my mind go completely blank. Then I would avoid looking at my phone for the next hour. And it was a cycle that continued. Kiyoko was teasing me non-stop by sending me Pinterest boards of our supposed wedding. I can't deal with this girl. The only thing that seemed to distract her was the search for our manager, which was currently not going well. All the first years seemed too afraid to approach us whenever we came by and the first-year boys were no help at all. Tsukki seemed to actively avoid us while Hinata was too ready to see us. Well mostly me, he was always flustered around Kiyoko. Not to mention Kageyama did not pay attention to the kids in his year and Yams was always around Tsukki.
After another unsuccessful lunch search, Kiyoko and I sat down outside.
"This is going to take forever." I groaned and closed my eyes as I leaned on Kiyoko's shoulder.
"Don't be so negative, we will find someone." She pat my head then looked through the remaining flyers in her hands
"I hope you're right, ma'am. We leave in a year and we need to take this time to train the next unlucky soul to handle these boys." Kiyoko giggled and soon we saw Suga, Daichi, and Asahi walking towards us.
"How was manager searching?" Suga asked while plopping down beside me. He put his head on my shoulder so we were all leaning on each other.
"Not good, none of the first years are coming to talk to us. I think it's Kiyoko's fault. She is too pretty. It's intimidating." I sighed heavily, making sure to avoid Asahi's eyes.
"If you keep talking like that I'd say you were in love with me, (n/n)-chan," Kiyoko said teasingly while looking down at me.
"You know it, Kiki-chan. My love is for you and you only."
"Don't go lying, I know there is a certain someone who you just ado-"
"Ok, lunch is over, time to go." I hurriedly removed myself from my seated position and grabbed my bag. Just as I was standing, I flicked Kiyoko in the forehead. "Idiot," I mumbled under my breath as she laughed. I turned around to stand in front of Daichi and Asahi.
"Why don't you two walk together, y/n and Asahi? You have your classes together, right?" Daichi said while looking at the two of us. I narrowed my eyes at him. He knew quite well that Asahi and I had class together but it has never been suggested that we walk together alone like he was doing now.
"Yeah, we will see you guys at practice tonight." Suga and Kiyoko got up quickly and walked away, rather quickly, with Daichi.
"Why are our friends the way that they are?" I sighed as I watched them leave. I heard Asahi laugh quietly beside me and I finally turned to look at him.
"I don't know. C'mon, let's go to class." We started walking beside each other but we didn't talk. It was as if now, I was overthinking every conversation topic. I scrambled over something to talk about until we reached our class. My shoulders fell dejectedly as we both moved towards our seats. I can't even talk to him anymore. Soon, the teacher came in and we still said nothing to each other.

The class was finally done for the day and Asahi and I gathered our bags before heading to the club room together before separating to change. Once I reached the girl's change room, I saw Kiyoko already there, changing into her manager uniform.
"Hi (n/n)-chan," Kiyoko said cheerfully.
"Hi Kiki-chan, how was your day today?" I asked, dropping my bags and getting ready to change.
