The training camp had quickly come to a close, I almost wondered where the time had gone. Several members from the other times tried to talk to me after watching how I had played with them, most of them flirting, but the boys were quick to shut it down. Hinata, Tanaka, and Noya were absolutely not having it. Surprisingly, neither was Asahi. For someone who hated direct confrontation, he always seemed ready for it when someone got a little too friendly with me. If a guy that wasn't from Karasuno so much as breathed in my direction, Tanaka and Noya would immediately turn into guard dogs, Hinata jumped in front of them to try and block their sight of me and Asahi would stand behind me, looking down at those who dared approach the second manager of Karasuno. They were animals. If I didn't like Asahi, I would complain about how much they were cock-blocking me. I was almost glad to leave, however, I knew that soon enough, we would be coming back for the summer training camp.

The ride back was similar to the ride there in terms of seating, besides Hinata and Kags. Asahi and I shared music with a playlist that we had created after their set of games at dinner but this time rather than sleep, we spent a lot of time talking with each other, the other members joining the conversation occasionally. After we got back to school, Asahi and I headed home almost immediately. I missed my father's meals, my bed, and my talks with my mother. He didn't stay for dinner but was nearly attacked by Ryu when he saw us coming.

"Hey Ryu, it's me, Nee-chan. You know, the one you are actually related to?" I crossed my arms over my chest and glared down at the child.

"Oh, hey Nee-chan. Didn't see you there." His voice was muffled by Asahi's stomach as his face was buried in it. Asahi looked at me with laughter in his eyes as he stole all of my brother's affection. I never should have introduced the two of them. When Ryu finally let go, we waved goodbye to Asahi before heading inside together. He finally gave me a hug and said that he missed me before going to the kitchen to see what my father was making. I guess I could take the second-hand love for now.

"Hi, Dad," I called as I dropped my bag down at the table and wrapped my arms around my father.

"Hi, hun. I've missed you." He returned the hug before going back to his cooking. I peeked over his shoulder at what he was making and instantly salivated. I wasn't gone for long but I definitely missed his food. Soon he finished and we all sat down to eat while they listened to my stories about the camp, Ryu interrupting occasionally to ask a question. After we ate and cleaned up, I headed upstairs to shower and then sleep. Long journeys, despite how fun, were exhausting. I yelled a good night and crashed immediately after hitting my bed.

The next day at school, we had all found out that Hinata and Kags had gotten into a fight that Tanaka had to stop. I wish I could say I was shocked but I knew it was coming. They were always arguing about something and the events from the training camp were definitely the final straws. Despite the argument around their deviant quick and the rift it had created, I knew that the team would come back stronger than ever, especially since everyone knew they needed to try something new, not just those two. And so practice commenced. Somehow, I was roped into helping Noya and Asahi with their new tricks while Ukai worked with some of the boys on a synchronized attack and Yachi helped Kags with his new spiking technique. Kiyoko was, as always, taking notes to aid the team.

"Y/n-sannn! Can you receive my tosses to Asahi this time?" Noya persisted. Asahi was working on his jump serve previously while I received and worked on my reflexes. Despite being a wing spiker usually, this was a good workout and allowed me to hone my other skills.

"Sure, Noya. Let's see if you can actually do the toss this time." I ruffled his hair as I teased him and his eyes glimmered. It was almost too easy to please these guys. We worked for hours, occasionally Noya would get it but more often than naught, it was fumbled.  I tried to give him advice where I could but I was only the person who received the sets, not dealt them out.
