The day after our date, Asahi met me at my house so we could go back to the art gallery to pick up our paintings together. Since I had 'gone to sleep' rather early last night, my phone was filled with messages from the team demanding to see our paintings. They were so invested in our relationship. Even Tsukki (who texted me outside of the group chat) asked to see the paintings. He said he wanted to have something else to make fun of but I knew he was just as curious as the other boys.

The walk to the art gallery was quiet. It was somewhat early and considering I wasn't doing much sleeping last night, I was a little tired. On the bright side, we would be going to Asahi's house for breakfast, meaning I didn't have to cook.

We arrived and were immediately led to the room where we had done the painting yesterday. Some of the other pieces of art were already gone, meaning that a few couples had already arrived. We walked to our painting and I immediately picked up Asahi's.

"Isn't that my painting?" He asked while picking up my art.

"It's mine now." I gave him a wink before waving at the workers and bidding them goodbye.

The walk to his house was spent admiring each other's paintings and making different comments.

"Why don't I have a face?" He asked curiously.

"My love, I am not an artist, leave me alone. Besides, you have a nice body, I just gave it justice." He blushed while shaking his head at me before scanning the painting again. There was nothing I could even critique in his painting. It looked even better in the daytime where all the colours appeared more vibrant.

"Do you like it?" He asked cautiously as he watched my face.

"I absolutely love it. Do I always look this good or is it just your art that makes me this way?" I watched as he blushed again, the smile on my face growing.

"I don't think I made you look as pretty as you always look. You look even better than you do in the painting." He responds this time with a blush growing on my face. It seems that my constant teasing was rubbing off on Asahi. The rest of the walk was spent delivering flirty compliments trying to make the other blush. By the time we reached his house, both of our cheeks were very warm and the smiles were wide on our faces.

"Hello, Asami-san!" I walked into his house first, taking off my shoes and sliding on the slippers that awaited me at the front door.

"Hello, my dear! How are you? Let me see your paintings." She walked out to the front and placed a kiss on my forehead before pulling the painting from my hands. "Oh my god! Did Asahi paint this? You are so talented! This is so beautiful! Why have you never painted me, your wonderful mother? I brought you into this world meaning I gave you your skills, and you haven't painted me? I am putting you up for adoption." Asami went on her little rant while glaring jokingly at her son.

"Mom, I made you a painting for mother's day." Asahi returned exasperatedly.

"Right! I forgot about that. You can stay for another year." I laughed at the two of them as I followed Asami to the kitchen. She placed the painting on one of the empty countertops before directing us to our seats. We thanked her for the meal before digging in.

"Asami-san, do you have any more stories for me?" From the corner of my eye, I saw Asahi's face pale as his mother's face lit up.

"You know I do, my dear!" She launched into a story about Asahi claiming he was from Canada for an entire year because 'they are nice and I'm nice too so I have to be from Canada'. He had given up on trying to prevent the stories now. Asami-san and I laughed at him while he claimed he had to go to the bathroom and didn't come down until he heard us washing the dishes.
