Asahi was in quite the predicament. It was his fourth year now and he was at a loss. The ease and simplicity of his third year could not have prepared him for this. Nothing happened last year. There were a few big projects but nothing too taxing. He spent his vacations in Japan with his mom and childhood friends, he spent the school year studying and sketching, and he spent his free time with his university friends. He took special care to avoid any romantic relationships, which included his past ones as well. He kept Genvieve at arm's length and stopped asking Suga about Y/n. Especially when he found out that a certain former ace had been showing her attention. He didn't want to hear about that.

Now, as it was his last year, it was time for him to officially get his name out there in the world. The dress he made with Genvieve had undoubtedly helped. After Colette had brought it into her store, it did very well and earned the two students quite a bit of money. It was making money to this day, plenty of people seemed to love this dress and Asahi couldn't be happier about it. However, this year was his real test.

Much like the fashion show he had gone to watch with his ex-girlfriend, a similar event would be put on. The only difference was that each student had to put on their own show unlike the school in Tokyo where each student had a section of one large show. It was a project that would take place during the entire year. All the shows were at the end of their school year and would be the perfect opportunity to start getting recruited to top companies in Europe.

Everyone was stressed. The studios were constantly being booked and tension between classmates and peers was rising. Everyone was an enemy now. Even Simon was holding his sketchbook closer to his chest.

The only person who was unaffected by this atmosphere was Genvieve. As per her usual loving and caring self, she made sure that everyone was doing ok and eating their meals. She had water bottles and small snacks constantly ready as well as never shied away from a request. No one could be mean to her, she was the darling of their year.

It didn't help that she was evidently infatuated with Asahi. He didn't miss the knowing smirks and glances from his peers whenever she went to talk to him. She had a smile that seemed to be entirely reserved for him. Her eyes would light up, her smile would widen, and blush would stain her cheeks. It was an expression that Asahi was slowly growing used to and slowly began to enjoy seeing. His heart would beat a bit faster and his lips would turn into a smile on their own accord. Then he would feel guilty and would shy away from her. It was a continuous cycle and Asahi couldn't help but feel bad whenever it happened.

It had been four years since he had last seen Y/n in person. She didn't often post on her social media, and it wasn't like the two of them were scheduling any calls. It had been four years so why did he feel so in love with her still? Of course, naturally, as time passed, it made sense that he had started seeing Genvieve in a new light. It had been a while since he had received romantic attention and he wasn't complaining that Genvieve was the one that wanted to give it to him. However, the affection that he held for his former girlfriend held him back. Was it really time for him to move on? He wasn't sure.

Aside from his love life and the internal struggle he faced with it, he had no idea how he wanted his fashion show to go. It was held towards the end of the semester so spring or summer clothes made sense, but what would he do? He wanted to work with Colette's, a luxury fashion brand, so luxury clothing made sense. How would he approach it? What would his scenery be? Who would fit best as his models? He was at a loss. Not to mention, he had big ideas but he wasn't sure how he would connect them all together. This was too much.

One particular night, Asahi sat hunched over his desk with his apple pen between his lips, an empty page on his iPad, his glasses sliding down his nose, and his hands pulling at his hair.
