They had been dating for a few months and things were quite wonderful. They were in the 'honeymoon phase' all over again. He visited her during her practices with his iPad in hand perfecting the first collection for his store. He has had the rough sketches for the dresses he wanted under his name for years. Now they can come to life. Y/n had specifically instructed him to focus on that while she helped him with everything else for the opening day which would be soon approaching.
He often attended group events with the teams and was accepted easily. With him around, Y/n was a lot more willing to go out now and they thanked him profusely for that. Kags was happy to have his old team member around and even offered to set for him on numerous occasions. The girls took a keen interest in his designs and the store.
"Y/n, you are going to get us all discounts? Right? My dresses for all these awards and sport's banquets aren't going to pay for themselves." Diana called out.
"You are really asking me this as if you aren't a professional athlete? Pay for it, cheapskate."
"But Y/n, the sexism!"
This is usually how the conversations went. Even the guys got in on it, requesting suits in his collection. Asahi hadn't planned for them but made a note to add them later on in his career.
They also spent quite a bit of time with Yachi who, with her extensive knowledge in graphic design, made a wonderful website for Asahi where his designs would be broadcasted in a couple of months on the day of the opening. Things were quickly coming together for Asahi and his work.
Aside from that, the two of them were practically joined at the hip. Y/n frequently spent time at Asahi's apartment to help him with work. At least, that was what she told Yachi she was doing. She was finding that more and more of her clothes had their own spaces in his room and her shampoo, conditioner, and favourite soap had their place in his shower. The apartment was basically Yachi's considering how much time Y/n was at her boyfriend's place.
When she is actually helping her boyfriend, they were preparing the last-minute touches for the boutique. For the most part, the interior was done. Lighting was completed and the bathroom had running water. Mirrors were hung on every wall and comfortable armchairs and loveseat were placed strategically throughout the entire boutique. The space wasn't huge, but he made it his own with the help of his girlfriend. He decorated with earth tones of brown and green, but mainly filled with white and marble floors that Y/n particularly liked walking across with heels. It made her feel rich when she heard the click on the floor. Mannequins were placed against the wall in posed positions because they both felt the mannequins looked boring beforehand. Some were clothed in his finished dresses, others were still bare and waiting to be dressed.
(a/n: This is what I was thinking for the store. Very simple yet elegant and I feel like it fits him. It isn't too crazy or bougie but it does have some elements of it, ya know?)
