It was a lovely week for a celebration, specifically wedding celebrations. Y/n and Asahi had been engaged for two years now. Their work kept them busy with minimal time to plan their wedding. It didn't help that they were both famous. Both the sports and the fashion world were ecstatic to find out their respective favourites were to soon be married.
Despite the hype that surrounded the pair, the wedding would be rather small, at least in comparison to what was to be expected of a World famous volleyball player and a globally recognized fashion designer. The only thing that alluded to their vast wealth was the fact that the wedding would be in France.
With a store set up in the French capital, they also agreed to buy a house in the lovely country. For their future and vacations to avoid the coldness of Japan during the winter. It was also the venue for their wedding.
Since the wedding would be so small, it wasn't a problem to bring out their friends and family to France to celebrate their union with them.
Their friends had been particularly happy about the travel plans. Daichi and Suga have been as busy as ever and haven't taken much time off for vacations. Getting away to the beautiful foreign country that they had only visited once before was much needed. And the Tanaka's were excited for their first major vacation as a family. Hiroyuki was now two years old and hadn't been outside of Japan. His parents were always excited to grant him new experiences. It was the first vacation for Yachi and Kanoka in their relationship as well. With Yachi working her ass off at her designing company, and Kanoka working her ass off in volleyball, they rarely had time to get away. The wedding would be a wonderful experience for them both.
As for their families, they were dying to go on a vacation together. Especially Asahi's family. His relationship with his father wasn't perfect but it was much better than it was four years ago. They could now spend the day with each other without Asahi wanting to leave early. Y/n was extremely proud of her fiance. And the kids were more than excited to see their older brother get married and be at the wedding. They even managed to convince the couple that they should be a part of the wedding as well. Ichika immediately claimed the title of flower girl and Hansuke just wanted to give them their rings. Even as they grew, they were as cute as ever and who could say no to them?
Travel plans were made quickly along with sleeping arrangements. Their families would stay in their home. Luckily, there were four extra bedrooms and Ryu decided he wanted to stay in a hotel 'in case he met some beautiful French women that he wanted to spend the night with'. When Y/n heard that, she immediately laughed in his face.
"Who would even want to spend the night with you?"
"People with good taste. I don't even get why Asahi is marrying you."
"It's because Asahi actually has good taste. There is a reason he is a famous fashion designer."
"There is also a reason he wears glasses but you aren't ready for that conversation."
Asahi watched her face change and immediately threw her over his shoulder and away from her brother while the siblings sneered at each other. Deep down, they loved each other. Very deep down.
