When they entered the hall again, it was rather obvious that they were no longer at odds. His hand rested on her lower back and he looked down at her with a smile on his face while they conversed. She was smiling brightly and talking animatedly with her hands. They were laughing with each other and staring into each other's eyes for a bit too long.

Their friends watched them sit together at one of the empty tables. His hand immediately found her thigh and rested there while they conversed with each other, catching each other up with their lives.

"So, how was France?" She asked. She wanted to be a bit petty but she had just gotten him back, the pettiness could wait.

"France was amazing. I learned a lot and really jumpstarted my career. I can open my boutique here in Japan." He sighed happily.

"You're moving to Japan?" She exclaimed.

"Gem, I told you this outside," He smirked at her while rubbing small circles on her leg.

"Well, I was distracted so it isn't my fault," She pouted slightly

"Tu veux être distrait à nouveau?" (you want to be distracted again?) He whispered in her ear and watched in amusement as she flushed and nodded her head.

"I don't know what you said, but yes." He laughed deeply and held her close to him again.

"That was a good answer, gem. I'll do it later." She looked at him curiously before standing up.

"Let's go and dance then."

They spent the night with their friends and celebrating Kiyoko and Tanaka. Tsukki and Yams left halfway through, not before Y/n attacked him with hugs (and he actually let her!), Hinata and Kags went outside to toss a volleyball because, of course, they both had one in their cars. They even got Mako to join them while Oikawa pouted and texted Iwaizumi. Daichi had wanted to leave but Suga was living his best life, dancing the night away with Yachi, Kiyoko, and Y/n. He is one of the girls, after all. Simon had even joined them, making sure he got to know Y/n, the woman his good friend had been pining over for years. They were sure to exchange contact information.

Finally, the night ended and Kiyoko and Tanaka waved as they left for the airport. They were going to a resort way up in the mountains, Y/n had helped them pick it out since they didn't want to travel too far.

Everyone hugged and said their goodbyes as they all went their separate ways. Yachi was staying in her old home with her parents and Simon would be leaving the next day to go to the United States before his trip with Noya to Italy. He was staying at Asahi's house for the night.

Before Asahi left with Simon, he pulled Y/n to the side.

"I'll see you when we are going back to Tokyo, ok? Come over in the morning. Bring your dad and Ryu. We can all have breakfast together before we leave," He suggested hopefully. He had kept in contact with her father for a bit. Despite what had happened between them, he didn't blame Asahi and only wished the best for him. He knew how much his daughter loved Asahi, and loved him by extension.

"Alright, my love. I'll see you tomorrow then. Get home safe." He kissed her gently and pulled her into a long hug.

"You too, gem. Je t'aime." (I love you) He whispered in her ear before turning away. She had no idea what he said to her. She really needed to learn French.
