Twilla gasped and had to sit down fast. She couldn't believe what she was seeing on the TV.... twins! Identical twins! Bold as brass and right there for anyone to see.

A month earlier, when her sister had confessed she had become obsessed with a soap opera entitled The Dusk at Dawn, Twilla had made a note to watch it... but she had lost the note, till that morning when it showed up in her sweater pocket.

Realizing she was right on time, she had tuned in... and received the shock... the awful surprise that would change everything about Edenville!
Twilla sat for some time try'n to figure out what to do.
The last time Edenville had been plagued by the intrusion of identical twins... one good, one evil... it had thrown folks for a loop.

Curfews had been put in place, neighbor pitted and plotted against neighbor... families torn asunder... and business at the tiki bar had dried up!

Finally, after protests and committee meetings, and planning sessions late at night.. reason had prevailed and the twins had been escorted to the town's main gate, where they were given scooters and waved on their way.

There was still bad blood when it came to the memory of that twin invasion... and now... here was another set of the troublemakers!

Twilla was so upset that she made herself a super-snazzy martiki-tini, with two umbrellas, and drank a pitcher of the fortification while she thought her hardest, most serious, thoughts.

That next morning, Twilla woke to find Ancient Boo, wearing the Mayor's grass skirt, her furry, little hung over body flung over a bar stool. Twilla groaned as she tried to sit up, and poke Boo with a tiki torch till she was satisfied that the old, drunk cat was still alive.

"Milli? Twill here" she mumbled into her phone, "come over to the tiki... right now... and Milli?..."

"Yes, Twilla... what?" Millicent was already out her door...
"Milli, old friend, bring aspirin..."
"Okeedokee! What's this all about? "

"twins, Milli... TWINS !"

Millicent Peed felt a thrill of excitement, curiosity, and fear as she raced toward the pharmacy.
