Mayor Maynot was ecstatic!

The cannonball twins had been put to rest and Edenville was rid of the pest (actually two). Doc treated Edward Fudge for a sore throat with some honey and garlic and prescribed some of his own beetroot and asparagus swirl ice cream before meals.

Constable Breem was awarded the Edenville mauve heart for wounds received in exercising his duties. Inspector Fellow was presented with a coupon for a two night stay at the Eden Grand Hotel by Beulah Underwood for his part in solving the cannonball mystery.

Beulah was ecstatic!

Porter Dobbs retrieved his bicycle from Japonica, paying her the thirty pounds plus interest and took it for a spin through the town. Sid Schwinn appeared from behind a hedge on his Zepplin tricycle and the collision had the village people thinking the cannonballs were back.

Schwinn was excused but had to pay a license fee for his gondola - retroactive to the start of his residency in the village. This time Porter was arrested for riding while bandaged and appeared before Judge Feddup who sentenced him to fifteen days in the police lockup.

Breem was ecstatic!

Millie revived Corky long enough to give him her news report then rushed to the Tiki Bar to celebrate with Twilla. Beulah arrived with the certificate from the mayor that accompanied the free coupon. Jethro was there to assure Fellow about the rat incidents, telling him not to worry, his free room was on the second floor and they hadn't found any up there as yet.

Before he could swallow his complimentary Foamy Surf, Beulah spirited Fellow away to show him what he'd won.

Beulah was ecstatic!

Bianca appeared on the court in tennis garb, slapping her leg with her racket and checking her diamond Patek Philippe Twenty wristwatch. Ronaldo was seen climbing out the clubhouse window, a small travel bag slung over his shoulder as he quickly limped away.

Carlos Monteverdi showed up in tennis whites with a paisley ascot in the colours of the Edenville flag and a tray of New England oysters.
We all know what Bianca was.

Stefan and Mr. Blake stopped by the church for a chat with Reverend Cuffy Cuthbert Smidge and had to sit and listen while the organ peeled potatoes and lard was rendered by the choir.

Cuffy suspected why they were there and he was ecstatic!
