  The start of december brought chills to audrey, she was walking the owlery after sending calum a letter. She hugged her gryffindor scarf close to her body snuggling into it. She quickly walked inside the castle shivering slightly. "You okay audrey?" Ginny asked sitting next to a blonde who had a dreamy look on her face making audrey smile at the two girls.

  "Just cold, hi i'm Audrey I'm assuming your luna?" she asked the girl who she assumed was Luna to look at her. "Yes." she said in a sweet voice making audrey nod. "Gin, have you seen your idiot brothers?" Audrey asked, making ginny nod. "Fred and George went towards the great hall." the redhead responded, making audrey wave bye to the girls.

  Audrey walked into the great hall spotting the twins laughing at a ravenclaw whose hair turned purple. Audrey chuckled walking over to them. "Hello boys." she said sitting at the gryffindor table making them smile. "Hi addie." Fred said, winking making audrey roll her eyes at him and drink some pumpkin juice.

  "Where's lorelei?" George asked, pointing out the missing brunette. "Something about diggory." Audrey said, shrugging watching the way George's eyes turned dark for a second. "Oh my gosh!" lorelei said running to sit next to aurey. "Hm?" Audrey hummed, turning to see her bestfriend blushing. "So apparently there's going to be a yule ball and guess who just asked me!" lorelei said making audrey roll her eyes.

  Lorelei groaned, "just guess." she pushed the blonde who smiled at her friend. "Oh my, is it pretty boy diggory!?" Audrey asked sarcastically, making lorelei frown. "Yes it was." she huffed, turning to the twins. "Who do you two want to take?" she asked, smiling making Fred and George share a look. "We'll figure it out." they both said standing up and leaving the two girls behind. "They are so weird." lorelei mumbled making audrey agree.

  Audrey sat in between hermione and lorelei waiting for mcgonagall to speak, she assumed she was going to explain the yule ball. "I have something important to say to you all, The yule ball is approaching. A traditional part of the triwizard tournament and an opportunity for us to socialize with our foreign guests. Now, the ball will be open only to fourth year and above although you may invite a younger student if you wish."

  A younger gryffindor squealed making Audrey roll her eyes, she wasn't good at dancing so it made her worried to go to a ball. "Dress robes will be worn." professor mcgonagall continued, "and the ball will start at eight o'clock on christmas day, finishing at midnight in the great hall. Now then."

  Mcgonagall stared at the room full of students "the yule ball is of course a chance for us all to er let our hair down." she said in a disapproving voice making Audrey hold back a laugh making eye contact with Fred who winked. "But that does NOT mean, that we will be relaxing the standards of behavior we expect from Hogwarts students. I will be most seriously displeased if a gryffindor student embarrasses the school in any way." mcgonagall said.

  "Now we will partner up and practice, Mr. Weasley if you will." McGonagall pulled ron up standing in the middle of the room making audrey snicker. "Put your hand on my waist." McGonagall said, making Ron swallow and cringe. "Where?" he asked, his voice getting high. "On my waist Mr. Weasley!" she said grabbing his hand and putting on her waist. "Mr Filch if you please." she said, making the old man start the music.

  Audrey watched the twins sway to the music making her laugh and turn to Lorelei who was laughing at Ron's face. Mcgonagall pulled away "partner up please." she started making the girls stand and boys groan. Audrey watched George whisper to Fred who nodded walking over to her, making her smile at him. "May i have this dance?" he asked, making the blonde nod.

  The two walked into the middle of the room, Fred putting his hand on audreys waist interlocking the other. Audrey felt the butterflies stir up making her blush and look down. Fred hummed to the music while dancing with her making her smile up at him. "Your not bad weasley." she stated making him laugh "and you suck." he said making her step on his toes making him smile. "Kidding." he mumbled, twirling her.

  Audrey sat in the common room with lorelei, angelina and katie bell. "Who are you going with lorelei?" Angelina asked, making lorelei smirk. "Well cedric asked me, it was so cute i was heading to the owlery with audrey and he stopped us so i made audrey go and he was messing with his scarf being shy and he was all like, "lorelei would you like to go to the yule ball with me? If not that's alright." and i'm like why would i reject such a beautiful and kind person so i said yes." lorelei said, making angelina and katie gush.

  "Who are you going with?" Audrey asked Angelina, making her sigh, "no ones asked me yet." she said, frowning, making audrey sigh. "I hope we get asked soon." Audrey stated making the two other girls nod. "Ladies." Fred George and Lee said sitting next to them. "Yo katie you have a date to the yule ball?" Lee asked, making her shake her head.

  "Want to go with me?" Lee asked making katie chuckle "yes I'd love to." she stated giggling and going upstairs. "I'm going to bed. I'll talk to you guys later." audrey said walking up stairs making lorelei turn to fred. "Okay what's the plan?" she asked, making the redhead scratch his head. "Umm." he mumbled, making lorelei sigh.

  "Okay well just ask her with flowers." Lorelei said, making angelina nod. "Or make her jealous by taking angie and i'll take her.'' George said, making Fred nod. "Perfect! Well I have to do it when she's around!" Fred said, making Lorelei groan, "you idiots, fine make her jealous if it backfires that's on you, goodnight." the brunette said walking up the stair angelina following mumbling about how stupid boys are.
