Audrey sat on her bed reading her book while Lorelei next to her petting merlin. "Audrey." lorelei said moving into a position where her head was on her friends lap. "Hm?" Audrey asked not looking up from her book, making Lorelei huff. "What do you think the boys are up-" lorelei was interrupted by Penelope Emerson knocking on the door a look on her face.
"Girls, professor dumbledore is here and would like to have a word with you two." Penelope said walking down the stairs making the two bestfriends send each other a panicked look, it was only the first week of summer vacation what could dumbledore need.
The two walked down stairs spotting calum and penelope chatting with Dumbledore who had a sparkling glint in his eyes. "You think he knows he lost my respect?" audrey whispered to lorelei who shook her head no. "he cant have known unless he read your mind." lorelei whispered back messing with her sweater.
"Ms. emerson Ms. Cohen, please sit down." Dumbledore said sending penelope and calum a nod making the two leave the room calum sending Audrey a wink. "Professor dumbledore sir to what do we owe the pleasure of a visit." Audrey said sweetly, even if he lost her respect it was her seventh year at Hogwarts and needed to stay on his good side.
"The Weasley's have informed me you wish to stay with them this summer is that correct?" dumbledore asked a soft smile on his face making audrey uncomfortable, to her he didn't need to know her summer plans. "Yes sir." lorelei responded holding back her glare she wanted to send her headmaster. "They are staying at this place, it's the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, if you'd like to go you must pack right away and come with me." dumbledore said going straight to the point.
Audrey nodded looking at Lorelei who frowned slightly. "We'll be back." lorelei mumbled, grabbing Audrey and heading into the blonde's room. "Are we going?" Audrey asked sitting on her bed making the brunette nod. "Don't get me wrong I want to see the boys and Molly but I don't want to leave your mum and calum it's your last year at home." lorelei said, laying on Audrey's bed who looked down.
Audrey hadn't thought of it like that she knew Fred would be upset if she didn't go but Lorelei was right. It was her last summer with her mum and brother before she was of age and moved. "Your right. I'll be back and tell dumbledore." audrey said making lorelei nod.
Dumbledore stood in the living room in the same spot they left him. "Ah I assume you've decided?" Dumbledore said, turning towards Audrey who was stood at the entrance. "Yes sir, as much as we'd love to see the weasleys, I can't leave my mum this summer." audrey said watching dumbledore look in thought. "I understand, i shall tell the weasleys i'm sure they'd understand.'' Dumbledore said walking to the door.
"Oh and audrey, i do hope you don't hate me as much as you did last year, a war is coming and we need to be united." dumbledore added before disappearing leaving an eavesdropping calum in shock and an embarrassed audrey. "You hate dumbledore and he knows!" Calum said, pointing at his sister and shaking his head. "I don't hate him, I just don't respect him!" Audrey yelled, making calum roll his eyes.
"Same thing!" he yelled back making audrey glare, "honey where's dumbledore and lorelei?" Penelope said standing next to Calum, making Audrey smile. "We rejected Dumbledore's offer, I want to spend the summer with you mum-" "and not with her boyfriend!" Lorelei said, jumping onto audreys back, making the blonde girl stumble onto the floor.
"Boyfriend?" Penelope asked, raising brows at her daughter who was currently on the floor slapping her best friend who was laughing. "Um yeah remember the twins?" Audrey started getting interrupted by her brother right away "BOTH OF THEM DAMN AUDREY DIDN'T KNOW YOU HAD IT IN YOU!" Calum yelled laughing making Lorelei laugh hardware on the floor.
"CALUM! No! I'm dating fred!" Audrey responded, covering her face making her mum chuckle. "Well I want to remeet him. I've only met him once invite him over dear." penelope said, watching Lorelei send a smirk to Audrey who groaned running up the stairs to send Fred a letter.

A week went by before Fred responded saying he'd apparate over tomorrow around noon adding how nervous he was. Audrey knew that Fred was asking his mum a million questions on how to make someone's mum love them. Little did he know Penelope loved pranks.
The next day Audrey woke up straightening her hair making it go past her chest, she then put a blue short dress on the sleeves had ruffles on them and it had whote polka dots. She walked downstairs with Lorelei who was dressed in black jeans and a grey tank top, her hair waved and down. The two sat with calum chatting about anything till they heard a pop making audrey smile when arms wrapped around her shoulders. "Miss me?" Fred asked, kissing her cheek making her smile.
"Oi i'm here to git!" George said making lorelei choke on her water. "How, why, I thought?" Lorelei stammered, making Audrey and Calum share a look. "Fred insisted I come and keep you company, though I think he's just nervous." George said, making Fred send him a glare. "Oh you're the twins now I'm guessing the one holding my daughter like she's a stuffed animal is her boyfriend?" Penelope teased making fred gulp and let Audrey go.
"That'd be me ma'am." Fred said, making penelope smile. "Call me penelope fred. George lorelei calum may i have some alone time with the love birds?" Audrey's mother asked making lorelei and george send the two winks and heading to Audrey's room "if you ruin-" "we know yada yada!" lorelei yelled before slamming audrey's door making the blonde cringe.
"Look man i don't know you or your family but if you hurt my sister i won't hesitate to kill you.'' Calum said, sending Fred a look then leaving to head to the store for dinner. Fred sat down next to audrey making the girl grab his hand interlocking their fingers, making Fred smile down at her. "So what's your intentions with my daughter?" Penelope asked, making Fred gulp.
"Well, i'd like to spend the rest of my life with her however long that may be. Maybe have her move in with me and George when we open our joke shop, get another cat Merlin could use a buddy, and of course marry her." Fred said, making Audrey tear up and Penelope smile softly at the two. "I'm okay with it, you have my permission now run along before I sob." Penelope said, making Audrey smile and stand up pulling Fred towards her room.
She stopped in the hallway a little but away from her bedroom and her mum. "I didn't know you felt that way." Audrey said, making Fred smile down at her "you've never asked." he said making Audrey roll her eyes, before she could say anything else fred lips were on hers making her hum in peace. Audrey missed him and it had only been a few weeks. They pulled away giggling and running into her room holding hands.
