  Audrey sat in the grass that had snow on it still. Looking out at her backyard sighing missing Hogwarts already. "Hey." Lorelei said sitting next to her best friend. "Hi." Audrey responded resisting her head on Lorelei's shoulder. "So are we celebrating New Years like muggles or no?" Lorelei asked, turning her head to see Penelope cooking food.

  "I think we are doing it the muggle way. If I'm correct then tomorrow we head back to Hogwarts." Audrey responded making Lorelei nod. "Do you think Fred and George are coming over at all?" Lorelei said, making Audrey Huff. "no I don't think so I think they're spending it with their family. I would send a letter but it wouldn't get there in time." Audrey responded, making Lorelei nod.

  "yeah I was just hoping that maybe they would come but I guess I can spend it with you." Lorelei said, making Audrey giggle "I guess I can spend it with you too." Audrey said, maybe inviting her to break out in laughter. Penelope watched from the inside cooking food seeing the two she loved with all of her heart laugh and play around.

  It's days like these that Penelope gets reminded the two girls will be gone out of her house for a while. Audrey stood up ready to go back inside Megan Lorelei followed her "so what are we going to do until your Mom's done with food and it's midnight?" Lorelei said, making Audrey frown. "I was thinking of watching some movies on the TV" Audrey said, making Lorelei nod.

  The two sat down watching movies that were on and laughing at some of them by the time dinner was done they had watched over 3 movies. They sat down at the table Penelope serving the food, they were having steak and mashed potatoes. "Are any of your friends coming over?" Penelope asked, smiling, making the girls shake their heads.

  "Not that we know of, we're assuming Fred and George want to be with their dad." Audrey said, making her mum nod "yes but you two have more friends right?" Penelope asked, making the girl shyly smile "we haven't really wanted to make any other friends.." Lorelei said, making Penelope laugh.

  "I was just like that when I was younger, never wanted friends but I met amber when I was a few years younger than you two and we were never separated. Anyways, Amber's son Marcus might come." Audrey groaned, everything about Marcus Boyd was annoying, he had dark hair and dark eyes and a smirk always on his face.

  He was the same age as Audrey and knew nothing about magic. He'd always try and flirt with Audrey since she was young and something weird always happened to him like once he was flirting with Audrey and his hair turned bright pink making Audrey laugh for days.

  "Does he have to come." Audrey said, groaning, making Lorelei snicker. Lorelei thought he was quite handsome but full of himself. "Yes I already told amber he was welcomed here, especially after what you pulled last time." Penelope said sternly making Audrey grumble and Lorelei break out in laughter.

  The last time Marcus was over it was second year and during summer break. "Audrey Marcus is here!" Penelope said, letting Marcus into Audrey's room which had a bunch of toys everywhere, "what do you want." Audrey said, making the dark haired boy huff and sit on her floor. "I just wanted to see you, is that so wrong-" "yes. Now leave." Audrey said, making him roll his eyes.

  "No, I want you to date me. Audrey it would be the best thing for me and you and our parents!" Marcus said, walking over to Audrey who held the twins' letter in her hands. "No. i don't like you! You annoy me and it wouldn't make me happy you could never make me happy!" Audrey yelled, making Marcus angry and shove her letter out of her hands, forcing her close to him. "You've given me no choice."

  Marcus smashed his lips against hers making Audrey bite him and back away into a corner. "YOU DISGUSTING BOY! I HATE YOU LEAVE ME!" "NO AUDREY CANT YOU SEE WE ARE MEANT TO BE!" Audrey broke down in angry tears watching Marcus walk towards her one second he was walking to her the next he was hanging in the air. "GET ME DOWN! YOU WITCH! MUM! DAD! MUM!" finally he was taking down and his memories of the magic were erased but he was never over again.

  "I don't want him here.'' Audrey said, making Penelope sigh. "He was twelve Audrey he didn't know any better. He's coming over end of story." Penelope said, getting up to answer the door, surprised to see amber Marcus and his sister Olivia who was only 10. "Ah amber so good to see you, why Marcus you have grown to be handsome and oh! Olivia, you look more like your mother everyday!" Penelope said letting them into their home.

  Audrey glared at Marcus who was looking around the house till he saw her he smirked his brown eyes full of surprise. "Well Audrey Emerson, you have grown more beautiful every time I see you. Oh and Lorelei you look stunning as always." Marcus said, not ignoring the way Audrey looked at him and Lorelei rolling her eyes.

  "And you look more like a rat than last time." Audrey huffed walking towards Olivia but not before he grabbed her arm. "I'm not here to argue with you. I would like to speak alone though." Marcus said, making Audrey roll her eyes and take him outside but not before whispering to Lorelei "if I'm not back in by 5 come get me."

  Once outside Audrey sat down making Marcus sit across from her. "What do you want." Audrey spit out with anger lashed in it. "Well as you know my father passed and is leaving the business to me and well I need a wife to run it with i was wondering if you'd put old grudges aside and become my girlfriend, my mother agrees it would be a good match."

  Audrey started laughing imagining how Fred would act if he heard what Marcus said. "What's so funny?" Marcus asked, making Audrey sigh. "Marcus i don't like you at all it would be a horrible ,match plus i have a boyfriend-" "right you do.'' Fred said, appearing out of nowhere. "Your mum told me you were outside with an old friend. I'm assuming this is the Marcus from second year?" Fred said, making Audrey smile and stand up hugging her boyfriend.

  Fred hugged her back but kept looking at Marcus who looked scared, Fred towered over him. Marcus was only 5,8 while Fred was 6,1. "I'm sorry i had no clue she had a boyfriend I'm so sorry Audrey if i had known i wouldn't have asked." Marcus said, standing up and watching the way Fred glared at him. "I doubt that." Audrey mumbled.

  "Fred lets go inside its cold." Audrey said walking inside "I'll be a minute." Fred said, watching Audrey walk off. "Look mate I'm sorry i really didn't know-" "but you could have assumed. You know since she's beautiful oh and the necklace she's wearing? No maybe you are as clueless as she once explained you were." Fred said, making Marcus gulp. "If i hear you ever lay a hand on her or ask for her hand again i will hurt you in more ways than one." Fred added, making Marcus nod.

  "Great then we understand each other." "mate." Fred said walking inside Marcus behind him, George was with Lorelei on the couch talking about something Merlin knows what and Audrey was with a little girl who had dark hair and was showing her a doll she had. Fred sat next to Audrey, grabbing her hand, "I've had a word with Marcus and he'll leave you alone." Fred said, kissing her cheek making Audrey smile.

  "Thank you, mum can we go upstairs me Fred George and Lorelei?" Audrey asked, making Penelope sigh but nod. The four walked up the stairs sitting in Audrey's room. "We didn't know if you'd spend your time with your dad." Lorelei said, making George kiss her. "We decided we missed you two way too much plus after midnight we are heading home." George said, making the two nod.

  10 seconds from midnight the four stood in her room counting down. "3, 2, 1! Happy new year!" Audrey yelled with Lorelei both drunk out of their minds laughing. Fred pulled Audrey into him kissing her with passion he never showed often. "Happy new year darling." Fred said, pulling away enough to mumble it. "Happy new year." Audrey responded pulling him back into a kiss, smiling softly. 

Long awaited chapter and my first one in 2021! I do hope this year is better than the last!
