Trigger Warning: Milk/Lung/Forest/Hamster and ASOTM refs, kinda

Ding dong!

The doorbell chimed, and Michaela jumped up from the couch.  My unicorn I bought!  Kayla had bought a unicorn off of Amazon, and had been waiting for weekes to receive it.  It had cost a LOT of money -- nearly her whole bank account -- but she was so desperate for a unicorn, she didn't care.  Kayla threw open the door, expecting to see a big box or a horse trailer or something.

She was disappointed.  There was nothing.  That is, until she looked down and saw a letter on the doorstep.  " 'To the Femo Quartet', " she read out loud.  "Interesting." Kayla picked the letter up and headed inside.

"GUYS!!" "Yeah?" Gerharde asked.  "What's up, sis?" "Finally get your unicorn?" Petra asked.  "No... but I DID get this letter.  Well, WE got this letter," Michaela explained.  She tore it open and found a piece of lined paper in it, as followed:

"Wow, she even included drawings of us!" Gerharde exclaimed.  "And slashes through the o's!" Taylor cheered.  "Not bad, Jo-- I mean, E.R.W.," Petra said.  "But... 'How would you react if all of your cursed fanfictions came to life'?"

Rylie shuddered.  "No.  Just no.  No no no no NO." "Agreed," Brenda nodded, shuddering as well.  Gerharde shrugged.  "It was ok." "YOU READ IT?!" Rylie and Brenda cried, shocked.  Gerharde nodded.  "Gets right to the point."

"The Lung Fic?" Patricia asked.  "Weird." "It's like the YBC... but almost worse," Petra explained.  "Oh." Patricia paled slightly.

"Down in the forest, we'll sing a chorus..." Taylor sang weakly.  She and Jocelyn exchanged a glance uneasily.

" 'A Splitting of The Mind?' " Gerharde asked.  "I guess that's YPB (Your Physical Breakup) 's 'cursed fic'." "It sounds scary," Frankie said.  "I read it," Brenda said mockingly.  Gerharde gave her a look.

They heard a thump, and turned to see Rylie on the floor, whimpering.  "NOOOO....!!" "Calm down," Brenda soothed.  Rylie flinched away.  "NO MILK! NO MORE!!"

"Suddenly I have a weird... urge.." Patricia spoke up.  She looked down at the floor, then looked up; her eyes were yellow.  "I MUST COLLECT LUNGS! INCREASE MY SOUL VOICE!" she yelled, punching through the door violently.  "Ah crud, no!" Petra yelped.  "PAT! COME BACK!" she chased her now-demonic friend outside.

"I'M A GHOST!!!!" Jocelyn shrieked.  "AAAAAHH!!" Taylor clutched her head.  "I scream, you scream, we all scream cause we're T-E-R-R-I-F-I-E-D!!"

Gerharde yelped and swatted at the sky weirdly.  "Sis?" Kayla asked.  "It... a ghost!" Gerharde explained.  "I hear voices, I see visions..." "These spirits, are your prison..." Dallan finished the lyric, even though Gerharde hadn't been quoting it.  "This is serious, Dallan! C'mon!" Andi cried.  "Okay, sorry," Dallan shrugged.

Soon, everyone had Panic! on the brain, and it seemed the whole world had gone insane.  Petra was still chasing Patricia around, who was holding a knife and running after some stranger.  Rylie was curled into a ball, crying, and Brenda was drinking milk.  Out of a gallon, of course. "Bad timing, Brenda!" Dallan scolded.  Gerharde was looking around wildly, still 'seeing ghosts', and Jocelyn had almost fully faded.  Taylor was very distraught, and kept spelling out the word 'terrified'.

The only ones not caught up in the chaos were Rae, Andi, and Jo.  "We need to stop this! But how?" Andi asked the fro fros.  Rae thought for a moment.  "Aha! Jo, don't you write fanfics, sometimes?" "Yeah," Jo said.  "I like reading them out loud to the others."

"And I love reading fanfics," Rae said.  "How about... you write a fanfic, one that reverses these evils, and I read it out loud?" "Excellent! I'll get right on it!" Jo sat down and began to write a story.  After a few minutes, she said, "Finished!" Rae examined the paper.  " 'The Peaceful Fic.'  Nice." She cleared her throat, loudly, and read:

Once upon a time, there were four amazing bands.  Your Physical Breakup, Rise In Girl, Worry? At the Nightclub, and Twenty Two Co-Pilots.  Collectively, they were known as the Femo Quartet, and were some of the best musicians around!

But one unfortunate day, the Femo Quartet was cursed with a fear of milk, lungs, forests, and ghosts.  All hell started to break loose, but luckily the brave Jo-Trow With the Fro saved them all by writing a story and breaking the curse.

"A story read by Rae Toto With the Fro," Rae added.

The others stopped screaming and looked at them.  At her.  Finally, someone spoke.  "Wh... what happened?" Gerharde asked.  "Oh, finally peace and quiet." Rylie looked up nervously.  "No milk?" "No milk," Rae reassured her, helping her to her feet.  "Jocelyn! You're okay!" Taylor embraced her now-visible friend.  "I'm not afraid anymore!"

Patricia and Petra walked through the doorway.  "Did I do that?" Patricia asked, looking down at the smashed door.  "Oops." "At least you're not a crazy, lung-obsessed creep," Petra said.  "Hey, sorry about that!" she called to the man they'd been chasing outside.

"Whew! Glad THAT'S over," Andi wiped her forehead and sighed in relief.  Before they could do much else, a man rushed into their house.  "Hello, my name is Dan," he said cheerfully.  "AND MY FRIEND IS BUYING A TON OF HAMSTERS! HELP!!" he screamed.
