Chapter Nineteen: Diaz is Captured.

"Moma?" Diaz said wearily as the ground began to shake.

"Transappar!" Valerie and everyone else said, transforming their weapons.

Valerie gripped her bow super hard, the negative energy was spreading from her finger tips to her entire body and it was almost unbearable. Something was coming.

Just in time, she glanced up at the ceiling right above Diaz as it crashed down.

"Diaz look out!" She yelled and lunged at him. She managed to grab him and push them both out of the way before the ceiling caved in and showered them with dust.

The huge dark creature that had crashed through rose to it's feet and gave a resounding roar.

Valerie didn't have time to look, she scrambled to her feet and pulled Diaz with her. "Dizzy, we have to get you to a safe place now"

"But..." Diaz started to protest but she picked him up and started running.

As she ran, she realized her feet were moving faster than normal and that everything around her was slowed down. The hallway was full of people, many people with black armour.

They were fighting against the Light Creatures who were obviously clad in bright colors.

"The Void sent his army" Valerie mused "his true army"

They looked normal, just like them. The only difference was their dark armor.

"Okay Diaz, please wait here, you'll be safe here" Valerie said as she put him down on the floor in her chambers.

"No!" Diaz said stomping his little foot "I want to fight with you"

"What the...?!"Valerie gasped and cringed when a sound of agony came from outside. "Diaz, listen to me, you can't come outside, if you get hurt, I would be so mad at you"

"Oh please Val-val!" Diaz begged,"you would not let Mister Poopy keep you in a place so why would you do that to me?"

"Because you're a kid!" Valerie hissed "and besides you don't have a weapon"

"I do!" He said with excitement and flew up to Valerie's backpack before pulling out a strong baseball bat.

"I brought a baseball bat along?" Valerie asked, confused.

"You do not know how to pack essentially" Blue deadpanned.

"I can fight moma" Diaz said swinging the bat with a rather precise aim "I am strong"

"Aww" Valerie said with a smile "I would take a picture but there's no time. Okay just promise me you won't leave my side"

"I promise" Diaz said with a firm nod and a brave smile.

Valerie grinned and kissed his blonde hair "love you, Dizzy" she said. Then she turned to the exit wall and pressed her palm on it.
