Dick Winters (Requested)

You were enjoying your sleep until you felt someone shake you.
"Lucy wake up! Come on wake up darling" you groaned and slapped Dicks hand away. He chuckled at you but put his hand on your hip.
"Come on Luc it's time for our morning swim"
"No five more minutes Dick" he sighed and you felt the bed move. Dick had gotten up and walked over to the window and opened the curtains.
"Ok- ok I'm up Jesus Christ" you opened your eyes and shut them again because of the light.
"Good now hurry up Luc" you heard him walk out the door and you shut your eyes again. The next thing you new you had fallen back to sleep.

"Lucy wake up- come on luc for fucks sacks Dick is going to have your head if you don't get up"
"I'm up I'm up" you sat up and saw Lewis sat on the edge of the bed. Shit you went back to sleep.
"Shit shit shit" you pulled the blanket off you and jumped out of bed. Lew lay down where you had once been and watched as you raced around the room to get ready.
"Could you like I don't look away Nix?" He chuckled but shut his eyes. You got changed and sat down on the bed putting your boots on.
"How long has he been gone?" You asked Nix
"About 20 minutes. You didn't go back to sleep for that long. He knew you would so he sent me up to get you" you rolled your eyes. Of course Dick knew you would fall back asleep.
"Right well see you later then" you said to Nix as you walked out the door leaving him laying in your spot of the bed with his eyes still closed
"Have a good swim!" Nix yelled back.

You ended up running down to where you knew Dick would be going for his morning Swim.
Once you got there you saw him just putting down his towel on the dock.
"Dick wait I'm coming!" You yelled out to him. He looked up and smiled while putting his hands on his hips.
You started putting off your OD shirt and thrown it to the floor of the dock once you got to Dick. You then pulled off your boots while hopping on one foot and almost fell over while doing so. Dick found it pretty amusing and laughed at you.
"I am so sorry Dick I really was getting up but I shut my eyes and I was out for it" you said while undoing your pants and slipping them off. You were just in your shorts and pt shirt.
"It's alright, figured you might've done that" he chuckled at you.
"Well I'm here now so let's go for a swim" you told him. He took your hand and you both walked to the edge of the dock.
You looked up at the sunrise and then looked at Dick
"Wait it's way to early for Nix to be up why did he wake me up?" Dick chuckled. "He hasn't gone to sleep yet Luc" you rolled your eyes. Of course he hadn't.

You both dived into the lake and went for a rather big swim. You laughed and splashed water at each other and just enjoyed being in each other's company. Being in the war was hell but now things looked like they were on the mend. Apart from the fact everyone was going to start training for war again. You put that to the back of your head though.

You both swam back to the dock and found Nix sat there with a towel over his neck.
"Forgetting something Luc?" Nix held up the towel.
"Thank you" you laughed
"Come for a morning swim Nix?"
"Ha yeah course, you know me so well" you laughed and walked over to get your towel off the side of the dock.
"You might find going for a swim Lew will wake you up" you said while wrapping your hair in your towel. Nix laughed at you.
"Wake me up? It's time to go to bed" Nix said as he stood up. He looked between you and Dick and then ran and jumped into the water behind you.
You looked at Dick and you both started laughing. You walking over to Dick and put your arms around his neck. You both were still waist high in water but you didn't mind. He put his hands on your hips and looked down at you. You looked out at Nix who was floating on his back and chuckled and then looked back at Dick.
"You know I don't tell you this enough Luc but your absolutely gorgeous" you blushed and looked down at his dog tags around his neck. You felt a finger lift your chin and then lips on yours. You kissed Dick back and heard Nix cheering in the background. You pulled away laughing and hugged dick while looking out to Nix who had a grin on his face.
You were the happiest girl. Having your boyfriend and best friend around meant the world to you. You didn't know what you would of done if one of them didn't make it out of that war. And you weren't going to find out either.
