You had just walked into the Eagles nest, where Hitler and his men would lavish up in all the fine gold, jewellery and alcohol.
Captain Speirs had hand picked you to go up first with a small group. You and Ron were very close, like brother and sister basically, he looked out for you and always wanted what was best for you.

"Hey Riley why don't you go check out the bedrooms, I'm sure you'll find something you like" you looked up at Ron and he had a massive grin on his face as he picked up a silver item, he loved his silver.
"Guess I can have a look Ron, don't hurt yourself now" you pointed at him as you walked off. You heard him chuckle under his breath.
You got to a double door room and opened it slowly to look what was inside. It was a whole room of just jewellery and clothes, and they were women's clothes to be exact.
You walked around the room looking at different peace's of clothing and jewellery.
Something court your eye as you walked past a massive mirror with a big dresser in front of it with loads of rings and brackets on it. You saw a baby blue Diamond ring sitting on the dresser. Baby blue was your favourite colour, every body knew it as well.

"Captain Speirs sir have you seen my girlfriend?" George asked while approving the man. Ron turned around and smiled.
"Yeah George I sent her to look in some of the rooms, I believe she went into the first one on the left" Ron told him.
"Thanks Sir" he just nodded his head and turned around.
George walked down to the double doors you went into to already see one of them open. He leant on the door frame and watched you as you picked up a ring.
George watched you closely while you admired the ring. He wanted to put a ring on your finger when the war was over.

You put the ring on your finger and held it up in the air so the light could shine off it, it was amazing. You had never seen such a beautiful peace of jewellery before.
"Hey gorgeous, what you got there" you jumped as ams were wrapped around your waist. You looked to see George there with a massive grin on his face. You let a sigh out and closed your eyes, leaning into George.
"Goddamn it George you scared me" he chuckled and gave your neck a small kiss. It made you get butterflies every time.
"That's a lovely ring my darling" George said resting his chin on your shoulder while looking at the ring on your finger. You had put it on your ring finger as it was the only finger it would fit.
"Yeah it's beautiful isn't it" you told him while taking it off. George watched as you slid the ring off your finger.
"Why'd you take it off babe? You looked lovely with it on" George asked you. You just shrugged.
"Well it only fits my ring finger George, and I'm not married or engaged so there wouldn't be any point in be taking it" you wiggle away from George to go look at some clothes. George watched you, when you weren't in view he took the baby blue ring that you adored and put it in his hand.
You hadn't seen it though, you were to busy looking at the clothes.
After awhile you had picked out some lovely dresses that you wanted and you took them.
You had forgotten that George was even in the room, the whole time he sat and watched you. He knew you were the one for him.
You both hadn't realised that Ronald Speirs was also watching the couple from the door. He knew George loved you and he knew you loved George. He how ever was waiting for the question to be asked.

"Riles" You heard George call your name. He doesn't normally call you by your name, it's always babe or darling.
George" you asked with a small smile. You turned around to face your boyfriend and as you looked at him he was in front of you on one knee holding the ring you had once put on.
You put a hand over your mouth.
"Riley James you are the love of my life and I can't see a life without you, from the day my eyes landed on you I knew you were the girl for me. So will you do me the pleasure of becoming my wife. Will you marry me" you had tears rolling down your face as you looked at George, you weren't expecting it at all.
Out of the corner of your eye you could see Ron stood against the doorframe watching. You then looked back at George, he looked nervous now.
You nodded your head at him.
"Yes George, hundred time yes I'll marry you" he stood up and you ran into his arms. He picked you up and spun you around. He was smiling from ear to ear. He put you down and smashed his lips into yours. You moaned into the kiss.
" alright that's my cue to leave" you both pulled apart and looked at the door. You laughed and George didn't really know what to do. He was just court by his CO who is your best friend.
"Don't look so scared George, your marrying my sister now" and with that Ronald Speirs chuckled and walked away.
You both looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"God I love you George Luz" you told him as you put your arms around his neck.
"And I love you even more Riley James" you heard as his lips touched yours once again.

News spread pretty quickly about George asking you to marry him and the whole company were so happy for you both.
You won the war, but the best prize was winning George Luz, your forever life partner.
