It was getting round to dinner time when you made your way over to the dinner tent.
You weren't feeling so flash with getting sick and everything and all you wanted to do was cuddle up next to lip. You both shared a foxhole but lately you haven't been in it with all the running around and calls for Medics.

"Hey, joe good to see ya, pal" you heard Bill day and you looked up and saw the one and only joe toye.
You ran up and hugged him.
"Yeah you too George and you as well Diana" joe said as he hugged you back.

"What the hell are you doing back here?" Bill asked Joe.
"Has to make sure you were on top of things. Was he Di?" Joe asked
"Oh yeah he's on top of things. Even tied his own boots up last week all by himself" you said and Bill laughed at you.
"See what I mean Joe all on top of things here" Bill told his best mate.
"Heyyy joe toye back for more huh?" Yelled out.
You drained out the feast of the conversation and walked over to lip go was eating.
"Hey you" you said. Lip looked up and smiled at you.
"Hey" he said and continued eating his food.
"Hey even first Sargent Lipton got a chunk of exploding tank, one piece to the face and the other almost took out his nuts" muck said and you laughed a little and looked up at lip who shock his head with a smile.
"Yeah how are those nuts doing sarg?" Bill said and you laughed even louder this time.
Some of the boys just smiled when they heard you laugh because they knew all to well that you knew how those nuts were doing.
"Doing fine Bill, nice of ya to ask" lip said and looked up a little at you with a small smirk on his face.
"Say Diana you should know all about lips nuts right?" Muck said to you.
You looked down blushing and then looked at lip who couldn't bring himself to look at you.
"Well boys I was there on the day so yeah I know they are just fine" was all you said and everyone laughed at you.
