(Chapter 4) "Minnie"

Today was the 76th day since I woke up. Did that make you think?

It's been 2 months and a half actually.

Today is Tuesday so Minnie is the one taking care of me. I was watching TV in my boring hospital bed as she played with her phone.

I was watching a drama but got bored, so I switched the channel.

Today Newsen TV reported that (G) I-dle member Minnie will be staring at a sitcom, together with popular actors and actresses.

Minnie heard her name so she looked up to the TV.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you I'm going to star for a sitcom, its a Netflix production so it'll be a high-end project." She said excitedly.

Anything you do is great.

"Woah! that's great then you'll be an actress! " I exclaimed as I looked at her.

"I'm no on that level though but I'll try." She replied to me subtly with a hint of worry in her voice.

"Hey, you can do great, your Kim Minnie after all," I told her, she smiled at me.

"I miss you like this you know. You always knew what to say to comfort me." She replied.

Mira must be really close to Minnie.

Minutes later, the doctor came into the room to check my vitals. I was looking outside the room watching the trees sway as they are hit by the wind.

"You know you can go out right since your doing so well lately, you should try and go through the hospital." The doctor said as he went through his medical records.

Minnie heard what he said so she stood up abruptly.

"Really?" She asked the doctor again.

The doctor smiled at her. "Of course, she has already adapted to the environment, so it's okay for her to go out, plus this is a hospital she'll be okay to roam around." The doctor replied to her.

"We'll go later then," Minnie said happily.

When lunchtime came Soyeon and Shuhua decided to come to visit.

"Mira-yah, I bought peaches for you. They used to be your favorite." Soyeon said as she put the plastic bag on the table set on my bed.

"Really? I loved peaches?" I asked her confused.

It's not that I don't like peaches. I'm not just a fan of it.

"Of course, you used to buy like a stack of peaches and you didn't give anyone a piece." Soyeon chuckled at her own thought, well me too.

I opened the plastic and took one peach out. I took a small bite on it.

Whoa, it's actually not that bad. I guess this body is different from me.

"You seem to enjoy it. I'll buy you more after you get discharged." Soyeon smiled and patted my head.

"Hey, Mira, do you remember how you look like?" Shuhua asked suddenly.

Oh, right! I haven't really seen my face. I must be stupid for not trying to figure that out.

I should really try to adapt to this now. I shook my head no to respond to Shuhua's question.
