(Chapter 10) What happened

"It was never your fault."

After I said those words Minnie just froze not knowing what to say.

"W-what are you talking about?" She says as she faced me.

"You clearly know what I'm talking about. And I'm here to tell you that what has been haunting you for 6 years is not true. That was an accident and no one ever meant it to happen." I watched her as I witness the shocked expression she is having.

"Whatever happened was done for a reason Minnie Eonni, and you don't have to push yourself anymore because I'm here now." I went closer to her.

She didn't respond to me instead she looked down.

I heard a sob.

"If I just didn't insist on going out that day, you could've debuted with us, you could've spent your days doing what to always wanted rather than staying in a bed waiting for a sudden miracle to happen for you to wake up." She faced me crying.

"But none of that was your fault Minnie. So forgive yourself already, cause I'm here, and I'll never leave again." I told her as I came closer and pulled her into a hug.

She reciprocated the hug quickly and held me tight as she let out the tear she was dreading to let out.

But this world has to ruin the moment for me.

I felt a big pang on my head as I felt like something hit it so hard. My vision became blurry and my head felt like twirling. I completely lost my balance and clung to Minnie

I didn't know what happened next but it just went black.

"Mira-yah, let's go somewhere after practice. The staff told us to rest ourselves before we face the hectic idol life." Minnie said as she sat next to Mira.

"How about we just take a rest at the dorm? We need energy for tomorrow's practice." Mira said as she wined to the older.

"C'mon it won't take long, just an hour or so." Minnie wined at Mira showing her a pout.

Mira sighed before replying. "You're sure it won't take long okay?"

Minnie nodded like an obedient puppy. "I'm sure." She stood up.

"We'll go at 7 okay, I'll wait for you at the parking lot." Minnie said as she skipped out happily.

Mira just smiled at her silly actions. After Minnie went out Yuqi went into the practice room where Mira was.

"Why is Minnie Eonni looking like she won a lottery?" Yuqi asked while putting her things on the chair.

"I don't know. Why, is she that happy?" Mira said as she stopped dancing.

"Yeah, she seems like a lovesick puppy on the hallway when I passed her. Did she tell you anything?" Yuqi now went to Mira's side while doing a little stretching.

"She just told me to go with her somewhere. Nothing important." Mira said.

Yuqi was surprised as she heard Mira's remarks but knowing Yuqi and her loudness she accidentally had a slip of tongue.

"Wait! The confession was today!?" Yuqi said in a very loud voice. After realizing what she did she quickly covered her mouth. "Oh uh."

Yuqi quickly ran out of the practice room as she wanted ta avoid any questions that Mira might have thought of.
