(Chapter 25) Start again

A few days have passed since the CEO was arrested. The staff seemed troubled at first but as the week passed by everyone got used to the situation.

The CEO went into trial and with the help of the old lady that I met we got someone to testify. The old lady said that he was man that engaged with her son before the accident. The CEO's footage with the driver was also found by the police.

The company's leader position is vacant but no one is going over the issue yet. They have initiated the board meeting so it'll probably take a couple of days.

The man that stalked us was imprisoned already as he confessed his crimes. He was the one that took the picture upon the CEO's orders and he followed us for a big chunk of money that the CEO offered.

The company mentioned to me a few days ago something about a comeback of (G)I-DLE too. They said most of the staff actually wanted me to comeback to the group but the CEO always called it off.

I've moved back to the (G)I-DLE dorm too. It took them a while to convince me but I was able to be swayed.

They told me that the dorm seemed empty after I left and that they worry always for my well-being. The company adviced me to stay with them as well so here we are...

"Hey, what should we watch?" Soyeon Eonni sat beside me in the sofa.

Since the staff at Cube are still busy the girls schedule was cancelled.

"I dunno, anything you want Eonni, I'll be okay with it."

She grabbed the remote and switched through the channels. After a few clicks she stopped at a performance. That's Blackpink.

"Oh, they went to America again. That's why she hasn't contacted anybody yet." Soyeon said as she watches the performance.

"Who hasn't contacted anybody?" I looked at her.

"Just someone... Don't worry you'll find out later." She said then stood up from the sofa.

"I'm gonna play games again!" Soyeon yelled as she went to the kitchen.

Who could that person be?

The afternoon flashed by in a snap. The others are currently at the dorms watching me and Yuqi play PUBG with them complain that we are both bad at it.

"Now Yuqi and Shuhua has influenced Mira with games these three will only play that all day?" I heard Minnie say as she comes in the living room.

"Yup, those two are starting their little game marathon already." Miyeon replied.

"Don't be so possessive Minnie Eonni." Shuhua said as she sits beside me.

I couldn't really see Minnie's expression but she seemed flustered.

"W-what are you talking about Shuhua-yah? Me possessive?" So much for her voice she does seem flustered.

Shuhua laughed at her response, but Minnie wasn't able to retort as the leader came in.

"You guys up for another delivery?" Soyeon asked while Yuqi and I were busy on the game.

"Of course we are, as long as you'll pay." Miyeon smiled at Soyeon innocently.

"Of course I will." Soyeon mocked her a little bit stuck her tongue out cutely.

"Aigoo! Aigooyaa!! Aish~" Yuqi shouted as she died in the game.

I was still playing so she went to look at my screen. "I'm dead, c'mon win this."
