~Two years on.~
.
Calum's P.O.V.
.
"Call me as soon as you land alright?" My mother instructed, hugging me for the billionth time that evening with tears shimmering in her eyes.
.
"You too sweetheart because I know he'll forget." She chuckled before giving Bailey one final squeeze.
.
"Okay, I think that's us, you got everything baby?" My eyes glimpse down to Bailey as I squeeze her hand gently.
.
She nodded, an ginormous grin plastered on her face, mirroring my own. We were finally going to do it. We were finally going to travel the world together, the way we always said we would. To complete the last of our bucket lists together, from start to finish.
.
"Are you sure you don't want to wait any longer for them to show up? Maybe they're running late." My father looked at Bailey apologetically.
.
Bailey shook her head firmly.
"It's okay, I didn't think they were actually going to show up anyway."
Lies. She was convinced her parents would at least come to say goodbye, even if she wouldn't admit it, it was obvious. "Besides I'll call them when we get there." She continued when my own parents didn't respond, trying to soothe their concerned expressions.
.
A high pitched voice echoed through the large airport, telling us our flight was ready to board.
.
"I guess this is goodbye." I gave my parents one last hug before walking quickly over to our correct destination.
"Are you okay about your parents?" I checked as we seated ourselves.
.
"Yeah, screw them. Let's go explore the world." She clutched her heart in a fake accent. She was so adorable. "I'm so happy you moved to Australia." I leant forward and kissed her cheek.
.
"So am I." She grinned before looking around nervously. "Truth or dare, plane addition?" She hushed her voice so the other passengers couldn't hear our devilish plans.
.
It had taken time, and a lot of it, but she had done it. She could talk to anybody now. She simply no longer was afraid. And neither was I.
.
"I dare you too make a pair switch seats with us so we can sit by the window." I started heavy, desperate to give Bailey the window seat I knew she loved.
.
She nodded, grabbing my hand and leading me to a middle aged couple.
"I'm sorry, but my boyfriend here has extreme diarrhoea, I think it's a bug. We may need to be closer to the toilet if you get my drift." She gestured to their places as they broke into horrified expressions.
.
They eventually nodded, looking the two of us up and down judgementally as I began to get slightly embarrassed.
"Sure, just stay the hell away from us." The husband grunted, moving away as soon as possible.
.
"I can't believe you told them I had diarrhoea that's so embarrassing!" I cringed as she laughed making me get over it, sitting down and enjoying the view.
.
"I love you Bailey, happy two year anniversary." I kissed her supple lips as I beside her.
.
"It's not our anniversary for like, four months." She raised her eyebrow, confused.
.
"Nope, I fell in love the minute we met, that was two years ago today."
.
"You are the cheesiest guy alive." She smiled, pulling me in for another kiss.
"But, I love you. I can't wait to spend the rest of the year together."
.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." I muttered under my breath.
.
"Pardon?" She looked up at me, not hearing a word of my mumble.
.
"I said, truth or dare?"
.
"No way Hood, it's your turn."
.
