Calum's P.O.V.
.
It was clear something was wrong. The entire way home Bailey's eyes appeared pained and her voice was strained. She never found any of my conversation humorous like she normally did, only rarely forcing out a small chuckle.
.
By the time we'd reached my house I'd had enough of all her secretive behaviour and I was worried about her.
.
"What's wrong Bailey? You've been acting off all day." I questioned when she perched herself on my bed.
.
"I just feel a bit ill, sorry." She mumbled, rubbing her neck for the fourth time since we walked into my home.
.
I nodded in disbelief, she wasn't one to act like this when she felt ill, sure she'd act slightly different, but she'd try her best to not let it get in the way of our usual silly behaviour, despite me offering if she wanted to just sit down instead that day.
.
"I hope you feel better soon then." I smiled, leaning closer to try and get a good look at her neck.
.
She seemed to flinch as soon as I came near, jumping up and putting a firm hand on my shoulder.
.
"Let's get you ready for this sleepover then!" She exclaimed, walking over to my wardrobe and digging around through my clothes.
.
Her personality change confused me but I knew at times like these I had to just ignore them, especially since she wouldn't want me to pry right now. Maybe later when she was a little intoxicated, maybe that would get her telling me the god damned truth.

.
By the time we arrived at Bailey's house she was acting the same as always, even the same as before Eden. Recently she'd been acting very secretive and I was still struggling to see why she thought Eden was so freaking great.
.
Before we opened Bailey's front door we heard obnoxious yelling blast through it and the walls of her house. Bailey's eyes became panicked as she turned to me and instructed me to 'wait right here.'
.
She disappeared into the house, the yelling loudening substantially as she opened the door for a few brief moments to enter it. I was baffled as to what was happening, it sounded as though her parents were arguing, a particularly heated argument maybe, but still only arguing.
.
I waited out that door for a good ten minutes, I waited there so long I had learnt every crease in her door and every detail of her front garden. my legs started to ache from standing so I resulted in sitting against the door and trying to listen in. However I was unsuccessful as their voices were now nothing above a stern whisper.
.
When the door finally opened, I jumped from the sudden movement behind me, loosing my balance as the object I was leaning on had disappeared.
.
"Sorry about that." Bailey mumbled, holding out a hand to help me up, which I gladly excepted.
.
As I walked in her mother barged past us, spinning around to grip Bailey's wrist as she did so.
.
"You don't run this family, in fact I hardly class you part of this family. I love him, why can't you see that?"
.
Bailey blatantly ignored her, simply rolling her eyes and pushing me to walk on, knowing I was about to defend her.
.
"Would you like a drink?" She questioned, leaning forward so that I could hear her whisper.
.
"Love one." I replied, letting her take the lead and following her footsteps into the kitchen.
.
The man who I only assumed to be Bailey's father turned and greeted me for the first time. He was shorter than me, only by an inch or two, but shorter. It made me less intimidated than I normally would be meeting someone like him.
.
"Man things have changed, in my day, the hot ones always went for the nice, pretty girls, not the ugly, fat girls." He smirked up at me, holding out a hand for me to shake, to which I only declined due to my disgust.
.
"I think Bailey's very pretty, actually Sir." I fired back, I had heard many awful things about this man and already hated him.
.
I looked over to Bailey who was blushing as she took my hand and led me to her room.
.
"I'll get you a drink later, when he's not in there." She apologised afterwards as we ran up the stairs.

Bailey's P.O.V.
.
Calum reached for my hand and gave it a squeeze as we knocked on the door. I looked up and smiled at him gratefully, I didn't even have to tell him I was nervous about this, he knew. Not only did but he know, he knew exactly how to comfort me.
.
"Stay near me and you'll be fine." He whispered into my ear as a tall blonde girl opened the door and let us in.
.
I nodded and took a deep breath in to try and relax. The bitter smell of alcohol and cigarettes filled my nostrils, and I decided against drinking tonight, otherwise I would blurt everything out to Calum that I shouldn't.
.
I opened my eyes and looked around properly for the first time. I'd never been to a party before, I never had any friends. I'd gotten drunk alone however, multiple times, so I wasn't lacking knowledge in that department.
.
It wasn't like most of the parties you saw on television, there weren't clusters of people joking around, everyone was dancing. Sweaty bodies grinding against each other all around us, whilst Calum and I stood there helplessly, not sure on what to do.
.
I started to freak out due to the sheer amount of people, I wasn't good in crowded places and this was exceeding my limit by far. Deep breaths just weren't helping anymore and I felt like I'd just ran a marathon.
.
"Calum, I have to get out." I shouted up to him through the blaring music.
.
He understood immediately, grabbing my hand which was quickly becoming numb and tingly, and leading me upstairs, knowing not to go outside to prove to Eden we did come.
.
He led me into an empty room, sitting me down on the bed and kneeling on the floor between my legs. His height was now equal to mine and his chocolate brown eyes watching me closely.
.
His large hands stroked up and down my arms, desperate to soothe me, telling me to just breathe over and over. He would occasionally move his hands to my cheeks, wiping away the tears that were unintentionally trickling down my face.
.
But I could barley hear a word he was saying, I felt sick and dizzy and completely breathless, my heart pounding a thousand beats a minute. Everything was blurry and I felt like I was going to pass out.
.
"Bailey I need you to listen to me very carefully, you're alright, I'm here and you're alright. Okay?"
.
His voice was low and quiet, for my ears only, and it started to calm me down. I think he could tell it was helping as he continued to talk gently.
.
"I'm here, I'm not going to let anyone hurt you, they're just people and they're to busy to even notice you. I'm not going to leave you and you're going to be just fine."
.
His palms were over my ears and hair, the bottoms of them slightly over my cheeks. His thumbs were rubbing gently and I was finally almost back to normal.
.
He pulled my head closer to him and gently pressed his plump lips to my forehead, followed by pulling me into a tight hug. I blushed as he pulled away, looking down so he wouldn't see.
.
"Thank you." I whispered weakly, calming down considerably.
.
"It's nothing, we need to get back downstairs so Eden thinks we came otherwise there'd be no point in coming here in the first place." Calum sighed, he didn't want to be here just as much as me.
.
I nodded, unfortunately knowing he was speaking the truth, and followed him down stairs. Eden caught sight of us as soon as we entered the kitchen to get something to drink, striding over and wrapping an arm around me causing me to flinch due to today's previous events.
.
Calum raised an eyebrow at me, but thankfully remained quiet.
.
"There you are baby, I've been looking for you and you're sweet, sweet ass." He slurred, clearly intoxicated, his hand sliding down and landing on my behind.
.
Calum tightly clenched his jaw, looking elsewhere than either of us.
.
"I'm gonna go and, yeah. See you later Bailey." He grumbled, turning and starting to walk away.
.
I grabbed his wrist like a reflex and he turned around to face me straight away.
.
My eyes were begging him not to leave, he promised he wouldn't leave me! I couldn't be left here, not with Eden, not with all these strangers who usually bullied me.
.
"I'll be back in a moment don't worry." He told me in such a low tone, not even Eden could hear.
.
As soon as he left Eden span me round to face him, being more gentle than normal due to the surrounding others.
.
"I don't like how he acts around you, you're mine and he needs to know that." He growled causing me to grimace.
.
"I'm not yours." I whispered to myself.
.
His eyes caught sight of something behind me and suddenly his hands were on my cheeks and pulling me into him, forcing our faces together so harshly that it seemed impossible to escape, despite my best efforts.
.
Eventually he had forced me into kissing him, his lips were rough and his breath tasted like beer and cigarettes. The whole situation only made me extremely thankful for that game I had played with Calum and his friends, which led me to having an amazing first kiss, otherwise this would of been it.
.
He finally pulled away and smirked devilishly.
.
"That should show him you're mine." He chuckled boastfully.
.
I span my head around to see what Eden was looking at, only to see the back of Calum walking away quickly. I immediately broke away from Eden's grasp and pushed my way out to follow him.
