Bailey's P.O.V.
.
Calum had invited me to join him at Ashton's house, apparently the others wanted to see me, and I really wanted to see them.
.
Yesterday had been wonderful, me and Calum had just watched movies cuddled up on the sofa, occasionally sharing the odd kiss or two. We had been acting really coupley all day and I loved every second of it.
.
They opened the door within seconds of us knocking with huge smirks spread across each of their faces. After greeting us we all went down into Ashton's basement, he had a drum kit set in there and I suddenly felt the urge to hear him play.
.
As we sat around, the boys still kept their stupid grins on their faces, just staring at me and Calum as I awkwardly shifted away from him, feeling uncomfortable with the situation.
.
"Guys, could you just be normal for two minutes, please?" Calum snapped at them.
.
Calum's P.O.V.
.
"Calum, could you come with me a moment?" Ashton avoided my plead, using his eye movements to gesture to the door.
.
"Umm . . ."
.
"Come on man, I really need your advice on something." He begged.
.
"Fine." I huffed standing up and leaving with Ashton, smacking Mikey and Luke's heads on the way out.
.
"Don't make her feel awkward." I muttered before exiting the basement, not willing to turn around as I knew Bailey's expression would only make me stay, and if ash was being serious, then I owed him my advice especially due to the last month.
.
Bailey's P.O.V.
.
"I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!" Michael sang instantly.
.
"Knew what?" I played dumb, not wanting to seem as though Calum was all I thought about.
.
"You know exactly what I mean, you like Cal!" He grinned.
.
"Aren't you more surprised he likes me?" I asked, my question genuine. I was definitely, certainly extremely surprised.
.
"We all knew he liked you, you're all he ever talks about Bailey." Luke laughed as I blushed.
.
Did Calum really talk about me?
.
"The real question is how long have you liked him?" Michael pried, leaning forward slightly, his nosy side showing.
.
I looked down at my feet, my cheeks feeling the familiar burn as I became positive they had turned the deepest shade of crimson.
.
"Since I met him I guess." I admitted, I didn't mind that they'd probably tell him later as I had already let Calum in on that information.
.
Luke and Michael began awing and lightly teasing at me as I thought about what this meant for me and Calum. What were we?
.
Calum's P.O.V.
.
As soon as we were alone Ashton gave me the inevitable pat on the back.
.
"Nice one man, I told you she totally liked you back."
.
I couldn't help but blush at his words, I used to just brush it off when they said these things about Bailey, adamant that she would never like me back. It felt so good to hear these words and know they were real.
.
"What do you need advice on?" I asked, desperately wanting to get back into the basement to prevent the boys from scaring Bailey off or upsetting her.
.
"I . . . You know what? Never mind. I'll talk to you about this later." He span around to walk back downstairs.
.
"Ash, come on." I urged, becoming curious.
.
He simply waved off what I was saying, striding back down the stairs, a little too fast, making me question what was happening.
.
When we went back in Michael and Luke instantly stopped their laughter and span their heads round nervously. They eyed our every move closely, making me wonder what the hell was going on.
.
When I eventually sat down next to Bailey the smiles returned on all their faces and I forgot about the weirdness, and sat as close as possible to her.
.
Ever since we first kissed back in my basement, all I ever wanted to do was touch her, I just wanted to be as close as I could all the time, always being connected in one way or another. Every touch made my skin tingle and sent shivers down my spine, every look made my insides melt. It was addictive. Over the last few months she had come to mean the absolute world to me, I was completely, totally, utterly whipped.
.
Michael began blabbering on about a new computer game while I subtly began playing with Bailey's hand, drawing lines up and down her palm and fiddling round with her fingers.
.
I could see her blush out of the corner of my eye making my heart pound, I loved making her blush. It was so darn cute.
.
Ashton nudged his knee with mine, raising his eyebrows at out intertwined hands and winking. I grinned goofily, feeling my own cheeks begin to colour gently.
.
"Hello, Calum?" Luke threw a stranded guitar pick off the floor at my head causing me to jump.
.
"Hm, what?" I realised I hadn't listened to their entire conversation.
.
"I said, it's nice of you to not be mad at Ash, we were all so worried-"
.
"Why would I be mad at Ash?" I interrupted.
.
"Because he kissed-"
.
"No!" Ashton exclaimed before sighing heavily. "No. I haven't told him yet man." He groaned, his mind had clearly also been elsewhere.
.
"Who did you kiss?" I released Bailey's hand and turned to face him.
.
He sighed softly, his palm sliding down his face in a fluster.
.
"Promise you won't be mad, okay?"
.
I nodded slowly because that meant he knew the information would anger me.
.
"I was at this party the other week and I got really drunk and started kissing this girl, things escalated really fast and we ended up sleeping together. In the morning I realised who it was but felt bad and asked her out. We went on a date last week."
.
I relaxed instantly.
.
"Why would I be mad about that?" I questioned.
.
He looked down instantly.
.
"Ash?"
.
". . . The girl was Klara, Cal."
.
"What?" I stood up, I felt like I was on fire.
.
How dare he take her out, how dare he sleep with her.
.
"Klara? Are you fucking kidding me?" My voice grew louder as he turned away in shame.
.
"Look man, I'm sorry, I couldn't just leave when she was already awake."
.
"Yes, yes you could of! It's Klara!"
.
"I know, I know and I'm sorry but-"
.
"After everything?" I croaked feeling more hurt than angry now.
.
He just looked down, and I turned to Bailey and took her hand again, pulling her up beside me.
.
"Bye guys." I nodded to Mikey and Luke.
.
"See ya." Luke shook his head, Mikey brushed a palm over his forehead.
.
I stormed away, dragging Bailey along with me all the way back to my house.
.
We didn't speak the entire way home. I was so mad and upset all at once, I wasn't sure which emotion was making the tears build up in my eyes, but it was one of the two.
.
Bailey's P.O.V.
.
We sat on his bed for what felt like ages in complete silence, his hands appeared to be viciously attacking each other and I was unsure what I was supposed to do.
.
"Hey . . . What happened back there?" I ask softly, speaking what had been on my mind for quite some time now.
.
"I just really hate Klara." He grunted.
.
"I know, I do too." I tried to help.
.
"No, not like I do. You don't hate her like I do."
.
"What did she do to you?"
.
He looked away, not that he'd been making any eye contact, but he had at least been looking behind me. Now he was just staring at the duvet.
.
"It doesn't matter what she did to me, it matters that Ashton shouldn't of done what he did."
.
I failed to reply, I hated Klara an awful lot, however what Ashton did seemed like a reasonable thing. He never said he liked her, he never said he wanted to.
.
"You know what forget it, I have a lot of homework to do, you probably do as well so see you tomorrow, yeah?" He got up and headed for the door.
.
I followed him downstairs and left as soon as he opened he front door.
.
"Tell your mum I said thank you for having me." I muttered as he nodded.
.
"Sure." He mumbled shutting the door in my face.
