Calum's P.O.V.
.
"Calum don't leave me alone with him please." she begged.
.
We were walking home and Bailey and Eden were scheduled for their 'date' later. I was about to get frustrated because she agreed to this but when I looked over to her, she appeared to be full of panic and dread.
.
"Why? What's he done to you Bailey?" I stopped walking and grasped her wrist, turning her to face me.
.
She thought about something momentarily before shaking her head.
.
"He hasn't done anything . . . you know me, I'm just nervous." She mumbled, refusing to meet eye contact.
.
"You'll be fine." I answered flatly, storming down my road without a goodbye.
.
I was so mad right now, I can't deal with her talking to me about Eden. Especially when I know he's only going to hurt her and that the only reason he has been given the opportunity is because of my letters.
.
Instead of going home I went straight to Ashton's house, for he lived closest and I did not want to be alone right now. I needed the distraction of my friends.
.
I waited patiently outside Ashton's front door after I had knocked, only getting more and more distraught.
.
Why didn't I just tell her the truth?
.
I saw a blurred figure appear through the stained glass window on the door moments before it swung open.
.
"Hey stop that, what's up?" He questioned, referring to my palms being forced into each other aggressively, a habit of mine that occurs when I'm angry or sad.
.
I followed him to his room and explained my present situation, hopeful for some advice but all I received was;
.
"Man, you really like her huh?"
.
I suddenly became very aware that I was kind of pouring my heart out to Ashton, when normally the only person I trusted like this sort of stuff was Bailey or Luke. I certainly wasn't a very open guy, not anymore anyway.
.
I nodded in response, my cheeks burning up as I put my head in my hands.
.
"I just don't know what I should do?" I tried for some useful advice again.
.
"Tell her."
.
I peered up at him slowly, raising my eyebrow signifying for him to elaborate.
.
"Tell her about what happened, with Klara I mean. Tell her the whole thing."
.
The boys all knew everything I'd gone through, they were the only friends I had left after that.
.
"I dunno Ash . . . What if she doesn't believe me like the others?"
.
He sighed dramatically before shaking his head slowly and staring me dead in the eye.
.
"If she really is as great as you make her out to be, she'll believe you buddy." Ashton slapped my back boisterously.
.
"Thanks." I grinned at him, i'd forgotten how helpful he could be sometimes.
.
Bailey's P.O.V.
.
Calum left angrily leaving me confused yet again. It must be about whatever him and Eden fell out over a few years ago.
.
I had been in fear of this evenings arrangements all week, Eden terrified me and I wasn't sure what he wanted to do tonight if we were only pretending to be dating.
.
~~~
.
My heart was thudding against my chest frantically, my hands becoming red rore from clinging onto the swing handles so hard. Eden had told me to meet him here at 9:30, because he wanted it to be dark, and it was now 9:42.
.
It's not that I wanted to see him, it's that I wanted to make sure I knew what he was doing at all times so he wouldn't hurt Calum. Whatever Cal had done to him, clearly still left behind a huge desire for revenge.
.
I clamped my mouth shut to stop myself from screaming when a massive hand touched my shoulder, followed by an obnoxious chuckle.
.
"Hey babe, did you miss me?" He purred into my ear causing me to squirm under his tight grip.
.
I didn't respond I just stood up off the swing and looked up at him, waiting.
Waiting for whatever was coming next. Waiting for my next instruction.
.
"Come on, don't be like that." He smirked, pulling me closer to his body.
.
"Now then I need a favour." He hummed in my ear, his voice slightly on edge.
.
I attempted to get out of his hold but failed as he only laughed and squeezed me harder.
.
"I need you to come to my friends party tomorrow night." His hot breath tickled my ear as he spoke.
.
"Scratch that, you are coming to my friends party tomorrow night." He instructed.
.
I nodded, giving in to his wishes. I looked down to my shivering hands and then back up to him. He grinned devilishly, at long last releasing my waist and now using his hands to slither down my back and under my shirt. Thankfully he stopped at the small of my back and left his cold hands there.
.
"And how about after . . ." He paused as he pressed his body against mine. "you stay round and we have a party of our own."
.
"I . . . Um, C-Calum! Calum is staying over tomorrow night." I improvised quickly.
.
"Well, Cancel it." He glared at me aggressively.
.
"I can't, our parents made the arrangements not us. His parents are going out so he's staying over." I became more confident as my lie deepened.
.
"Bring him then, whatever . . . It doesn't stop anything from happening." His rough fingers traveled up my spine and danced along the clasp on my bra.
.
Gasping, I pulled away immediately.
.
"I have to be back home before my mum notices I've left." I excuse myself before turning to leave.
.
Eden didn't say a word. He watched me leave questioningly before beginning to follow me. I didn't turn around at first but his presence did not go unnoticed.
.
I eventually spun around to see him give me a sarcastic wave.
.
"Just checking you don't go running to your precious Calum." He shrugged, taking a step closer with each one I took away.
