Unconditional Love
When a child is born,
So too, is a new kind of love.
From the moment that fertile seed is sown,
Something new arrives from above.
Your heart is no longer your own,
It becomes a white dove.
You will be there no matter the cost,
In sickness and health, you once said.
It is not a matter, of who you love the most,
Total commitment is the price to be paid.
From the cradle to the grave you will carry this love,
No matter what has been said or done.
