His medals on his chest.
He whispered in my ear,

I put the gold star in the window.
There's a fella come'n by
To pick up his Nintendo.
Do you remember when he broke his ankle?
Yes, dear, I do.
On a class trip to a farm.
He tried to ride a cow into the barn...
I was always scared he would come to harm.
