Timorous
From clichés our love did bloom, a
Youthful peach, tender and blushing.
Lingering eyes sauntering in a hazy
Gaze of breathlessness. Standing
Apart in haltingly ceaseless longing,
Where watching one another, became
A roaming dance of un-touching
Caresses. To seek the subtle heat
Of our teasing nearness in the air.
Our love, an exhaled breath of
Perspiring dew adorning pearlescent
Skin, hiding our timorous hearts.
