Do you recall, how we met?

Of couse you do.

If it wasn't for that day,

We wouldn't be here.

How did we meet, if one asked?

Let me take you back.

It was one beautiful morning,

And there we sat on the same bench,

After a long run.

It's like fate brought us together that day.

We were so busy calming ourselves,

That we didn't even acknowledged ourselves,as we sat down and were distracted by the beautiful sight.

As days went by,we again met at the same bench.

This time I found you sitted and engrossed on your phone.

So I joined in silently and sent my greetings.

Which you just didn't hear or ignored.

We did still meet on several occasions,

at the very place.

On those meetings, I just kept my greetings to myself.

Not to be disappointed again.

One day, you ask of my name and what I did?

Later, we grew together.

Started talking and we even went out on many dates.

And you even apologised for that one day you ignored me.

So I forgave you.

Out of a blue,you confessed your love and proposed too.

I was literally shocked, that your face that day was awful funny.

Which made me laugh instead of saying yes,

Years later, we were happily married and blessed with two children.

Who meant the world to us?

One thing I know is we were always happy,though sometimes there were fights but still made us closer and stronger.

And the rest is history.

And here we are reminiscing while siting on the same bench we first met.
