Chapter 39: Time Limit

[ Third Person POV ]
Sasuke traveled around Japan walking into the other territories unnoticed. He was given a fake ID and everything to his his Uchiha blood. Sasuke had found something on the border of the Hidden Stone and Hidden Sand. It wasn't big but there was a small door leading underground. It wasn't anything big but they found a old hideout that belong to the Akatsuki.

Shino and Sasuke were looking around the room. There were a few empty peach cans on the floor that looked like they were eaten recently. Shino picked up one of the cans,
"Looks like we just missed them"
"Damn"
Sasuke made a fist,
'If only we had gotten here earlier'
Sasuke looked down and was a little door. He walked closer and opened the door. Shino looked at the door,
"Probably the way they got food"
Sasuke put his hand inside and pulled something out. It was a folded piece of paper. He opened it and saw a small message. Shino looked over his shoulder and read the note.
"The time limit has changed"
Sasuke looked at every one of the paper trying to find anything that could indicate where the captives. He came up with nothing.

[ Shino POV ]
I looked around the room at everything in it. There are multiple empty peach cans on the floor, that must have been the only food given. When we walked in here the air was a little chilly and there are no blankets anywhere. The note said that the time limit has changed. It must have gotten shorter but why. They're eating just peaches, the room was cold, and there aren't any blankets. The reason the time limit has shorten...
Peaches, temperature, blankets, time...
This is bad. I turned to Sasuke,
"We can't waste anymore time here"
"Hn"
We started heading towards the entrance to keep searching.

While Sasuke was driving I made a quick call to Neji.
"Neji we have a problem"
"What"
"The time limit has been altered"
"By what"
"The captives have fallen ill"
Neji sighed,
"Thanks for the information"
The call dropped and I looked around trying to find something.

[ Third Person POV ]
Sasuke was listening to Shino while he was on his short phone call. Sasuke started panicking again,
'Last time Naruto was sick he was in pain. He could already be-'
"Sasuke"
I looked to the passenger side to see Shino.
"We'll find the captives and you will get your chance to apologize to Naruto"
'I hope so'
"Hn"
Sasuke focused on the road heading to the next city.

The team in the Hidden Mist territory was trying to come up with another plan. They were trying to come up with a plan that would work in the least amount of time. Sai sighed,
"This is going to be risky but I was thinking of using Sasuke to contact the other groups"
Neji rubbed the bridge of his nose,
"You want Sasuke to sign his death warrant"
Shikamaru argued,
"There's nothing else we can do"
Neji agreed,
"Fine"
Kurama gave a suggestion,
"Sasuke should go to Hidden Stone first"
Kiba took out his phone,
"I'll inform Shino about the new plan"

Shino got a notification from his phone and pulled it out. He opened to his home screen and clicked messages.

Kiba:
Change of plans
You and Sasuke are going to have to find the other leaders in their territory
Convince them anyway you can the doesn't include violence

Shino:
Which group should we go to first

Kiba:
Hidden Stone

Shino:
We'll get started immediately

Shino informer Sasuke of the plan changes. Sasuke didn't like the changes but if it got him to Naruto faster he would do it. Sasuke turned around and started heading for a hotel.

Sasuke was sitting on the hotel bed on his laptop. He was researching Onoki the boss he of Hidden Stone. He muttered to himself while looking though the results of Google.
"Onoki isn't a big name like the other bosses"
Sasuke's phone got a notification and checked what it was.
'A message from that hoe'
Sasuke placed his phone next to him.

After a while Sasuke got another notification and picked it up. This time it was from Ino. Sasuke opened messages and read that short message.

Ino:
If you can't find anything look at the site
www.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.com

Sasuke:
I appreciate it

Sasuke typed in the website into the web browser and it was a game to open a safe with a four digit pin. Sasuke's phone got another notification.

Sasuke:
Thanks

Ino:
****

Sasuke typed in the four digit number and it didn't work. The safe didn't open. Sasuke picked up his phone and texted Ino.

Ino:
****
Sasuke:
Didn't work

Ino:
Keep typing it in until your screen turns black

Sasuke did as Ino said and after the tenth time the screen turned black. The screen was black for five minutes. Letters started showing on the screen. The screen said 'Welcome Sasuke Uchiha'
The screen started turning into a dark version of Google. The only difference was that there was only a search bar.
"I guess I just search it up"
Sasuke typed in 'Hidden Stone leader'. There were many results. He clicked on the first result and saw a list of the leaders of Hidden Stone.

Sasuke was writing down the information he needed. 'You can find anything on this'
When his phone had another notification.

Ino:
Keep typing it in until your screen turns black

Ino:
When your done destroy your computer chip

Sasuke put his phone back down. He started typing something into the search bar. Sasuke spent hours on the site looking up multiple things.

Sasuke wrote down the last thing he needed and removed the computer chip. Sasuke was hesitant because the chip had his school work on it as well. Sasuke came to the final decision and destroyed the chip.

The captives struggled to get the food that was dropped on the other side of the room. While getting the food Han collapsed so he had to roll the food over. Roushi watched as the clock hand reached 12.
"Hey Han"
"I know"
There was a thump behind the small door and Han opened the door to grab the cans. Fuu spoke,
"Anything different"
Han roles the cans over making Fuu sigh.
"They're a different brand at least"
They struggled to open the cans and when they did they exerted all of their strength. At some point they almost puked from the peaches.
"Has any of you wrote your wills"
Gaara coughed,
"Now is not the time for jokes Naruto"
"Just want to have a pleasant conversation before I pass out again"
There was another thump behind the small door. Yugito turned her head,
"What's that Han"
Han reaches into the small compartment and pull out small vials.
"Blood"
All of their faces turned to disgust.
"Put them back"
Naruto put his hand out,
"Wait"
Yagura looked at Naruto,
"Are you seriously going to drink one"
Naruto looked at Yagura,
"Good experiment but no"
He looked back at Han,
"How many vials"
"Nine"
"Roll them over"
Han rolled the vials over to Naruto hesitantly. Everyone watched Naruto closely as he opened every vial of blood. Naruto touched the blood, rubbed the blood between his fingers, smelled the blood, and rubbed it on the floor.  He did the same with every vial. Naruto picked up a vial and drunk some of it. Gaara yelled at him,
"What the hell do you think your doing"
Yagura looked at Naruto like he was crazy,
"Are you insane"
Naruto picked his lips,
"Nice to taste something different once in a while"
He rolled the rest of the vial over to Fuu,
"What to try something new"
Fuu opened the vial, smelled it, and drunk some of it.
"It's just tomato juice"
"All of them are"
Naruto closed his eyes,
'Looks like Itachi did us a justice'
"Still though...
Naruto rolled the other vials back,
"...put them back"
Han put the vials back behind the door and they sat laid in silence losing strength by the second.
