Chapter 40: Alliance

[ Third Person POV ]
Sasuke and Shino were in front of a bar. This bar particular was favorable by the boss of Hidden Stone. They walked into the bar and was met with the strong smell of alcohol. They both sat down next to an old man who was drinking sake.
"Are you both a little young to be here"
Shino raised his hand,
"We just wanted a cup of orange juice"
"Is that all"
"We also wanted to have a small chat"
"I see"
All three of them ordered drinks from the bartender.

"Is this about the captives"
Shino slid his phone in front of Onoki. It had shown a picture of the note they had found on the abandoned hideout.
"Hmm"
"They've fallen ill"
"What have you children come to purpose"
"Hidden Leaf is purposing an alliance between Hidden Mist, Hidden Stone, Hidden Cloud, and Hidden Sand"
Onoki took a small sip of sake,
"If I understand correctly both Leaf and Mist have lost their leaders"
"That's correct"
"Why don't you elect another leader"
Sasuke spoke,
"They can't do that"
"Why is that"
Shino took over,
"Our boss is very important to us"
Onoki stated into his small cup,
"I see"
He looked at Sasuke,
"I will going this alliance of yours"
Sasuke slid the groups contact information and got up. Shino was going to follow when Onoki spoke.
"What happened to him"
Shino turned around,
"He ran away"
"Hm"
Shino turned back around and followed Sasuke outside. Onoki started at the drinks on the wall in front of him.
"Kid must have fallen"

Shino took out his phone and started texting.

Shino:
Hidden Stone ✅

Kiba:
Next Hidden Sand

Sasuke was looking at the road,
"What's next"
"Hidden Sand"
Sasuke kept driving heading to the Hidden Sand territory.

The captives were laying on the ground almost lifeless. Roushi spoke after a few coughs,
"Everyone alive"
"Yeah"
They looked said with weak and raspy voices. Yugito was trying to open a peach can,
"You think they could give us something easier to open"
Gaara's voice was raspy and his throat hurt every time he spoke.
"Something to drink would be great"
Naruto rolled an open can,
"The only thing we have to drink is this stupid peach juice"
Han caught the can,
"Don't waste food Naruto"
"Dude I have to pee but I can't reach the toilet"
Even Killer Bee didn't have the energy to rap his lines anymore.
"I have to throw up but the toilet seems to far"
Yagura couldn't even move his body.
Fuu sounded depressed for hours,
"I'm starting to regret not writing my will when I had the chance"
Naruto chuckled,
"And you thought I was kidding"
Gaara spoke in his raspy voice,
"Not the time"
Naruto coughed a few times,
"Just want to lighten things up"

Sasuke opened the door to the jewelry site that belong to the Hidden Sand boss, Rasa. They walked to the counter looking at the jewelry in true glass cases.
"What are you looking for today"
Shino recognized the man behind the counter.
"We were hoping to speak to you actually"
The man opened the counter,
"Please follow me"
Sasuke and Shino followed the man into the office.

They sat down on the couch in front of the desk. Sasuke and Shino were sitting in front of the man.
"May I ask what you wanted to talk about"
"Konkuro we would like to talk to you about your brother Gaara"
Konkuro stiffened,
"May I ask who you people are"
"Representatives of Hidden Leaf"
Konkuro started standing up,
"If you want something you will have to take this matter to my father. I am willing to contact him for you"
Shino stoped him from calling Rasa,
"We came here to talk to you as Gaara's brother"
Konkuro sat back down,
"Okay "
"We would like you and your sister, Temari, to be in our alliance along with the other groups"
Konkuro was looking at the two suspiciously,
"You are asking me as Gaara's siblings or as member of Hidden Sand"
"Gaara's siblings"
"We'll be happy to join your alliance"
Shino left Hidden Leaf's contact information in front of Konkura. They walked out of the office than the jewelry.
