Chapter 1 - Destiny

As the sun beamed on Aang's face, Aang knew that today was the day he start his last years in high school, in a new school, why was he going to another school? although having years in an air nomad school most of them had been wiped out recently because of the cruel dictator, Ozai trying to claim the world . But due to that Monk Gyatso, the father figure for Aang took him and hid him from Ozai's rule as refugees and with school starting soon, Monk Gyatso knew he had to get Aang into a school but knowing he was the avatar and had to properly master the four elements, moving to republic city where all four nations are mixed in, a four element school would be the ideal place to improve his bending. But knowing that Aang knew Monk Gyatso has sacrificed so much for him, he swore an oath to study hard and master all the ele-

"AANG GET READY FOR SCHOOL, YOU DON'T WANT TO BE LATE!!!" Monk Gyatso yelled across the hallway 

Aang snapped out of his thoughts and went to the bathroom to wash up, getting a sun hoodie and Demin blue pants and white converse shoes in the pattern of the race car's flag. And messing up his hair a bit, he was ready for school. Then as he hopped down stairs he saw Monk Gyatso prepared a plate of muffins for Aang, thanking him he sat down at the table where he asked-

"First day of year 12 in a new school huh? excited?"

"no, not really, w-what if someone knows i'm the avatar?" Aang said scared

"well not everyone will know, expect the teachers and principal and don't you think that southern water tribe girl you known years ago we be there? you two did have a bond right away you know... and there is a possibility" Monk Gyatso teased.

"well anyway there's no way she'll be in that school, it take a million spirits to make that happen..." Aang said dreaming

Aang had a crush on a water tribe girl named, Katara. He had met her years ago while seeing the four nations but parting so soon he didn't get to tell her how he felt, even if it meant  he never see her again.

"oh! would u look at the time i am late! i will see u soon da- i mean Gyatso!" waved Aang as he unlocked the door, he got his staff and bag to his first day in a new school. 

And as he unlocked the door he could feel the wind on his face and looking back at Gyasto, he turned back to lean in for a hug and they both waved at each other before the bus was present and Aang had to go. And as he stepped on the bus he could feel the stares and gossip about the new airbender kid. But as he shook of the feelings and he sat in the back row and plugged in he earphones in and listened to music the whole ride to get the feelings off.

Then just a few minutes pasts and the bus stopped and when he went outside it was the biggest building he ever seen. 

"no wonder this is a four nation school" Aang mumbled to himself

Then just like that a girl started running towards him and looking confused she suddenly fell but she was just about close to him so  that he could sweep her off her fall

"are u okay?" Aang asked the embarrassed girl

"yeah i am so sorry" as the girl went down to pick up her books.

Aang helped her and with a glance of eye contract she seemed so familiar to him and confused as the girl was, she asked

"hey your new right?"

"um yeah i'm Aang!" Aang said opening his hand out 

the strange girl blushed at first but then said

"Katara, thank you for helping me" Katara shook back

"katara...katara...katara WAIT KATARA! it's me Aang rememeber? when we were kids we use to go penguin sledding?" Aang shook faster

"oh! Aang i remember what are you doing here wha- oh wait don't tell me" Katara saw Aang's expression turn gloomy

"You must be new so i should show you around, it would be a great idea!" Katara said willingly

Aang flustered but nodded, he did need a tour but with the girl of his dreams he was for sure dreaming so so he thought...
