Chapter 21 - Heart broken

Suki laughed

"nice joke Sokka, you got me" Suki laughed

Sokka put on his serious face

"Suki...i'm not lying" Sokka repeated

Suki could see he had a serious face on and stopped laughing and turned her head 

"oh...." Suki said

"excuse me" Suki said getting up

"Suki!" Sokka tried to grab her hand but she resisted 

Then as she sprinted of and Sokka went after her and Toph, Zuko and Aang and Katara sat quietly in disbelief. While on the other hand Sokka caught up to Suki crying

"listen...Suki we were drunk and it....sorta happened, Toph is sorry and i'm sorry" Sokka said not facing her

"it's over..." Suki said trying to cover her tears 

Sokka was stuck and said

"i know you can never forgive me but...it doesn't mean i will never stop trying to win you" Sokka said walking away but not noticing that Suki looked back to try stop him but hesitated

When Sokka got back he sat next to Zuko avoiding eye contract with Toph like it was her fault, and he was very mad at her.

"Sooo...guys i have some news!" Katara said trying to change the topic

"what is it?" Toph said trying to change the topic too before it got weird

"it my birthday is in two days!" Katara clapped her hands

Sokka wasn't surprised but Toph, Zuko and Aang were equally surprised

"why are you looking at me like that?" Katara looked at the others

they have forgotten it was her birthday and pretended they knew so she wouldn't be upset and when they went back to the hotel to swim, Katara went to see Suki, to check if she was okay and Aang rushed to make plans for Katara's up coming birthday 

"So about Sokka-" Katara said

"i don't want to talk about him, it's over between us" Suki said in a serious tone

"oh wow" Katara said surprised

"anyways what about your birthday?" Suki changed the topic

"oh! yea about that! i think Aang is planning something romantic" Katara day dreamed

Suki laughed

"yea right, he probably planning it now because he forgot your birthday" Suki teased

"no! he remembered!" Katara crossed her arms

"well anyway let's have a girl's day out tomorrow!, a day before your birthday i will spoil you!" Suki said

"wait, not on my birthday?" Katara asked

"of course not, Aang is going to spoil you of course!" Suki pointed out

"oh...but you don't have too Suki!" Katara said gesturing her don't worry about it

"i have too! on my birthday you spoiled me! plus i do owe you so please let me spoil you" Suki pleaded

Katara nodded and the two talked till 6 going to a restaurant and eating there not bringing the gang because of facing Sokka and Toph and after they finished their meal Katara went back to her hotel room to find Aang surprised and closing his laptop quickly  

"oh Katara! didn't expect you so soon!" Aang nervously laughed

"Aang is 9, i am back late and what was on your laptop?" Katara pointed

"oh nothing!" Aang gestured Katara to go into the bathroom to get ready for bed

Katara grew suspicious but trusted her boyfriend and the next morning Katara got ready to go with Suki and after giving Aang a kiss she headed off

"so, where do you want to go spa, buy cloths, jewellery?" Suki asked

Katara thought for  a moment and said 

"definitely jewellery!"

the two laughed and spent the rest of the day on a shopping spree.
