Chapter 9 - Grudge And Acceptance

"WHAT!?" screamed Aang

"yeah, tomorrow we are going to stay at a hotel near them so we can visit him!" pointed Sokka

"yeah good luck twinkle toes" punched Toph

Zuko looked away and Katara leaned into a hug to kiss Aang

"it's going to be okay Aang i know it" kissed Katara

Aang felt a little bit of weight lift of his shoulders and kissed Katara back and the gang looked away

"Oogies" Toph and Sokka said

"what? you kiss me Sokka!" pointed Suki

"it's not the same" Sokka replied

"okay guys it's time to go back" Said Katara

the gang agreed but Aang and they went to their dorms

"stay Katara" said Aang grabbing her wrist

"sure" Said Katara sitting down

"Katara there's something i need to tell you" Aang said 

"what is it what do you want to talk about" Katara leaning in to Aang

"i- i- nevermind" said Aang

"oh ok, anything you need to know about my parents" said Katara

Aang nodded and they stayed there for 20 mins before heading back holding hands. Then as Aang went back to his room he went to wash up and wasted time till 9 to sleep for what the morning will bring. Then as the morning raised the gang packed their suitcases and wrote a note to the school saying that they be gone for a few days and they drove there (taking 4 hrs). Then as they came Aang realised he forget to book it the night before

"really Aang?" questioned Sokka putting his arm on Suki

"well good luck twinkle toes" punched Toph

"well i am going to my room, i finished" pointed Zuko

" don't worry Aang, share a room with me" pointed Katara grabbing his hands

"young lovers" Suki said

"Oogies" Toph said along with Sokka

Then as Katara and Aang arrived at their floor they unpacked...well Katara did and Aang showered and after realising he forget his shirt he came out shirtless and grabbed his shirt with Katara watching, she was memorized and when Aang kissed her on the forehead as thanks for folding the cloths, it made her blush madly and as it hit 4 Katara got ready with Aang checking in with Gyasto. Katara wore an off shoulder blue lace short holiday dress to see Aang in a suit since they were meeting her parents

"ready?" questioned Katara

"born ready" kissed Aang

The two headed down to see the gang and Zuko was the only one noticing Sokka staring at Toph's beautiful dress while Suki looked away. They went to the restaurant, while Zuko and Sokka stayed. Then Sokka caught a glimpse of them walking in and as they came in they greeted them

"so you must be Katara's boyfriend" Hakoda pointed 

"ah- sorry no i am Zuko...her friend, son of O-Ozai" said Zuko bowing

"oh fire nation..." said Hakoda

"oh it is great to meet you, lead us to the tables!" shook hands, Malina

they went to the table and Hakoda sat next to Katara and Malina, where Malina sat next to Sokka

"soo...where's your boyfriend Katara" Hakoda raised an eyebrow

" oh...sorry this is Aang, an airbender and my boyfriend.." pointed Katara

"nice to meet you!" Aang shook hands with Hakoda

"hi...Malina" Katara saw

"come on Katara, still not use to her? i know your mother is gone but...give her a chance" pointed Hakoda

"fine" Katara turned her head

The table then chatted and ate dinner and was waiting for the check

"Aang who is your parents, i would love to know" Malina said

"uh...that's personal" Aang pointed

"uhm you should tell her" pressured Hakoda

"i rather not, my sorrows sir" Aang replied

Hakoda looked at Aang

"very well Aang...anyways we and Malina have to excuse ourselves" Hakoda said 

they both left paying their part and the others payed and went up to their rooms with Toph going with Zuko to go the moives as "friends" and Aang discovering there was only one bed to share

"um i saw a glimpse of the beds but i thought it was two" Aang said rubbing his neck

"guess your sharing the bed with me Katara" said Katara grabbing Aang 

Aang blushed.
