Chapter 8 - Sincere

After Katara had calmed down she slept in Aang's arms and he gently placed her down and tucked her in and after Zuko had the talk with Iroh he though it be best if he went to Iroh's house to sleep, still scared of going back. The next morning come and the gang had lunch, barely talking as of yesterday but it all changed when Zuko came

"hi Zuko here...but you probably know me *sign* i am sincerely sorry to you Katara, and not just her, but to all of you, i did love Katara and i probably always will, because she was my first love and i am so sorry Aang" Zuko bowed and walked away

"Zuko! wait..." Katara said

he turned around

"you may have been a jerk but i can't believe i am saying this but i....forgive you...i know had given you so many chances but this is the last one but give me a hint your flirting with me and you won't have to worry about staying at this school any longer, Aang is my boyfriend, not you" Katara said in a firm tone

"And i should also be saying sorry to you Aang, sorry for making you uncomfortable lately" Zuko turned to Aang

The gang agreed Zuko messed up but gave him one last chance, but however this wasn't the first time he did this, at first he did bully Katara but he turned to there alley after Toph arrived. So they let him sit again, for the very last chance

Then as the table left, Aang wondered to himself how long can he keep he was the avatar, after  2 weeks Aang bottled this inside of him and was wondering

how long can this last?

Aang had went with everything so smoothly because there was always something to worry about but now that there was nothing to worry about, Aang was stumped. Then Aang remembered there was a newly built pool just down the street of the school and surely enough Aang texted the group to meet at 4 to have sort of like a pool party to talk and they are agreed and he thought then he will tell them in definitely even knowing he will break Gyasto's promise but he couldn't hold it in him, not anymore and Aang knew he had to tell someone. Then as he was thinking at the tree while meditating he heard a love song? he turned around to find Katara laying on he shoulders and when he saw that he put his arm oh her shoulder

"did you get the message?" Aang whispered

"yea and speaking of that we should head back Aang" Katara said closing her eyes

 Aang agreed and slowly swept Katara off her feet with made her blush madly and took her to there dorm where they changed and met the others

"hey love birds!" yelled Sokka

"i can't even feel the ground in water!" Toph said crossing her arms 

Katara saw Zuko and avoided him even though accepting him she still stayed with Aang

"guys i have an impor-"

"um sorry to interrupt up you Aang" Said Katara

"but my parents are coming to town!"

Aang gasped.
