Chapter 22 - Perfect

After spending the whole day on a shopping spree with Suki and also eating with Katara, she  collapsed on Aang in their room making him blush and stroked her soft dark chocolate hair

"tried?" he whispered

Katara nodded and sleep while Aang watched and eventually slept. The next morning Katara woke up to Aang closing the door

"Aang?" Katara began to focus her eyes 

"Katara your awake!" Aang rushed to her side with her favourite breakfast

Katara looked at the meal and Aang smiled

"happy birthday and hurry! we have a long day ahead!" Aang gestured

Katara nodded and eat it all up quickly and got ready, . Coming out Aang blushed and gestured her to wear sport and causal cloths and she did and in a bag, not to big, Katara added a small amount of snacks and checked the weather

"what's wrong?" Aang looked

"nothing, just checking the weather and it's pretty sunny" Katara said showing Aang

Aang smiled

"perfect"

As he grabbed her hand and took her to what seemed like a big building to her

"Aang where are you taking me?" Katara asked as he took her out of the car

"it's a surprise ~" Aang winked at Katara making her blush madly 

He took her to a room, sort of like a ballet room

"huh why are we here?" Katara looked around

"are we dancing?" Katara continued to look around and eventually Aang

"take my hand" Aang gestured to Katara

Katara looked at him

"i dunno Aang these shoes aren't made for dancing" Katara brushed her hair

"just take it" Aang persisted

"ok" Katara quickly took off her shoes and took his hand  

He whispered in her ear teh dance and they started dancing realising people looked at them dancing through the glass wall

"Aang's everyone's watching" Katara tried to stop

"don't worry about them, it's just you and me right now" Aang stared in her eyes

Katara nodded and they started dancing turns, flips and were in form and everyone clapped at the end and left as they quickly packed up

"Aang, how did you know i like dancing?" Katara hugged him

"i am the avatar~" Aang winked

Even though learning this all from Sokka

and after they finished they went to another place

"And where are we going" Katara leaned in to Aang

" it's a surprise ~" Aang winked

"you know i hate surprises" Katara leaned back at the seat crossing her arms 

"don't worry, were here!" Aang pointed

The taxi stopped and they paid and Aang helped Katara out of the taxi

"Aang...you didn't have to this, is's wonderful" Katara gasped

"an aquarium so thoughtful!" She continued

Aang smiled and guided her in, where they viewed many beautiful fishes and Aang seeing Katara's eye sparkle at every moment made him more happy and they planned to eat lunch there, another one of Katara's favourite lunch and of course Aang fed her some parts he said it was for her to try but really it was a lie.

"Aang what do we have next?" Katara wondered 

"nothing" Aang continued to eat his food

"oh...ok"  Katara leaned back trying not to be spoiled

"well thank you Aang" Katara kissed Aang, not a long kiss it was a peck 

When they finished Katara tried not to act selfish and went back to the hotel while Aang excused himself. Katara knocked her head on the wall

(Katara don't be selfish he has done so much for you) Katara thought and taking a deep breath sighing while smiling and picking a book but as she was doing that Suki called

"what's up Suki?"

"Katara i am so sorry! but i couldn't resist helping the man that runs the pool down stairs to clean the pool and now....and i know it's your birthday but i need you..." Suki said 

"..." no respond on the other line

"fine i will come help you." Katara said 

"great! wear some swimming cloths" Suki exclaimed

"why would i-"

Suki hang up Katara rested her head and sighed, better get ready she thought and got in her swimming cloths and went to the pool, it was dark when she arrived not night dark but dark, normally at the entrance there was light but when she turned the light on after trying to find the light switch

"SURPISE!" everyone shouted

Katara was confused and summed up what happened, her family was there and everyone else's were there as well and she smiled and hugged Suki
"thank you for organising this" Katara hugged

Suki snapped

"organising this?....oh! that was Aang's idea" Suki pointed

Katara looked at him rubbing his neck and leaped in for a hug with him hugging back

"Happy birthday Katara."
