Chapter 3 - The Dinner

NOTE - I HAD SO MUCH FUN WRITING THIS -

"u-um yea i don't have any plans..."said Katara playing with her hair with her hands

"great!" Aang eyes lit up with stars

Katara blushed at the sight of this

"anyway...i was wondering if you  could go out dinner with me, there's a lot of things we need catch up on...you know as friends" Aang said rubbing his neck

Katara blushed and turned her head,

"i'll think about it" Katara said walking faster

Aang looked as she did, did he just ruin there relationship? he did mention as friends

(i such an idiot) Aang thought in his mind 

"this is your room, you have the key and since it's a fun Friday you won't have to go to class" Katara said blushing and while quickly walking away to catch up with Sokka and Suki

"what happened with Aang?" questioned Sokka as he noticed her super red chicks

"nothing....oh look it's your room better go in" said Katara shoving Sokka in and locking the door

*sign*

"he asked you out didn't he?" Suki said

"how did yo-"

"i have my ways, anyways you have to say yes" Suki said

"your right but, now's not the right time maybe later" said Katara opening the door

"wait where's Toph?" Said Katara scanning the room

"oh at the fun Friday event" said Suki jumping on the bed

"oh, you think she is-"

"yep she always does, and i am still broke" said suki looking in her bag

"um so what happen there Aang?" questioned Sokka

"well i- never mind i need to go, i will be at the gym if you need me" Aang said as he walked out 

"what was that about?" said Zuko as he passed Aang

"i don't know?" said Sokka

"What to hang out at the Cafeteria?" asked Zuko

"sure! i LOVE food, what do they have....oh! do they have meat?..." said Sokka walking out with Zuko

-----------------------------------30 minutes later----------------------------------------

Aang had returned to his room to shower but after 1 min of his shower he heard a knock on the door and thought it was the boys returning so he grabs a towel around his neck and wears shorts.

"hey! i- ...?" Aang answered the door to find Katara

"hi u-ummmm" Katara stood speechless

this was the first time she saw Aang shirtless and his was so handsome shirtless to her...but snapping out of her thoughts she said

"i-i u-um c-can go t-to d-dinner with y-ou ~" said Katara turning hot

"o-oh i am sorry let me put on a s-shirt i thought you w-were one of t-the b-boys" said Aang grabbing his nearby shirt and putting it on

"um i will see you at 7 bye" said Katara sprinting to her room

(Monkey Feathers , this time i REALLY messed up) Aang thought while Scratching his head and  heading back to the shower to change 

Aang was excited he was really going on a date-

 i mean dinner with his friend right? 

on the other hand Katara couldn't believe she saw Aang shirtless, her crush, she was amused and was day dreaming what the night will bring...

Then as Aang got ready he got a air nomad jumer on a white collar shirt as well as blue pants and with Katara, she wore a blue flower wrap dress and tied her hair half up and half down and when they both stared at each other they couldn't help but blush at eachother

"what do you want to eat Katara?" Aang went to her side

"Uh any place with seafood and with no meat for you Aang" said Katara looking at Aang making him blush

(she is so beautiful) Aang thought

 In the end they found a restaurant and like a gentleman Aang would open doors for Katara or pull out a chair for Katara and push her in which make the mood like a date.

"what can i get you two lovers?" 

"Um were just friends" Katara pointed out making it seem to Aang that she didn't really had any  interest in Aang that's why she thought about saying yes to dinner but after they ordered they went to chat. Talking about their life, previous lovers and more about themselves and after dinner Aang took Katara to the top of the restaurant viewing the glistening night and showing that Katara eyes lit up.

"you look so beautiful" Aang mumbled

"huh what did you say" Katara put her ears to Aang's face

"nothin" Aang turned his head

"well there is something i need to tell you" Aang said

"huh what is it what do you want to talk about?" wondered Katara

they both made eye contract 

"Katara i am saying 

i love you."
