Chapter 12 - Selfish

"Aang...promise me....even, if you know where he...i mean Gyasto is..don't try to go after him without telling me okay?...i just don't want you to get hurt?" Katara said

"i won't" Aang lied to Katara

And as Aang and Katara went to their dorms Aang asked to speak with Zuko in a very serious face and Zuko turned pale

(what is he going to do, i didn't anything with Katara oh my god just kill me) thought Zuko walking with Aang outside

"thanks for coming, say if someone were to hide a special person in the fire nation, where would they be?" questioned Aang

"why, who is it?" Zuko looked at Aang

"it's nothing, just a...random question" Aang looked at Zuko seriously

"well...its no good...they would have to be in the most highest guarding place ever" Zuko said

"what...is....the...name?" Aang leaned in closer to Zuko

"boiling rock..." Zuko replied

"thank you, just telling me is good for my test tomorrow..." said Aang walking away

Zuko was suspicious and before Aang could walk away he asked

"is it Gyasto?" Zuko said out loud

Aang turned around with the most serious face

"no" Aang replied

Zuko was now very suspicious and took a trip to his uncle, he knew Aang was hiding something and asked Iroh to look if there was any new "guest" taken in the prison because he was the fire lord's brother and sure enough there was

Gyasto...

Zuko knew Mai's uncle was in charge of thr prison but to get to Mai to talk to her uncle was an impossible task but lucky Zuko knew Mai's "new" boyfriend and they were on good terms...so Zuko texted him a big favour for riches as he was interested in riches and accepted the task and so did Mai and her uncle. And in the dead of night Gyasto was carefully sent out and in the eyes of Zuko

"i have nothing to tell you, and for the last time i don't know nothing" Gyasto looked down

"don't worry i won't hurt you, i got u out of there"

"were you the one that got me out of here?" Questioned Gyasto

"yes and i pretty sure a special someone is looking for you"

"Aang" Gyasto smiled

The following morning Aang was gone. No one saw him go but Zuko knew that he went to the boiling rock. Gyasto gasped to the news, 

"he won't last a day, he will be caught and killed!" Gyasto said

Katara walked in and saw Gyasto

"oh my! you must be Gyasto, wheres-"

"Katara...Aang, don't freak out..."

Katara smile then slightly turned

"he went to the boiling rock..."

"WHAT! he didn't tell me!" Katara yelled

"why didn't you stop him!" Katara pointed at Zuko

"i didn't know he depart so soon Katara i am so sorry" Zuko tried

"doesn't he know how much i need him and how much he needs me...why is he so selfish" Katara leaned in Zuko's arms crying

Katara couldn't believe it, she thought this was all a dream but it was not and after telling the news to the gang right after, they decided to go after him and let Gyasto stay with Iroh for the mean time. Being excused for one day ,the gang sneaky somehow got past the guards and the boiling rock due to Suki and due to Sokka and Zuko being in armour and taking the person who knew where Aang was. Suki, Toph and Katara got to the cell Toph metal bended her way in the cell and when it was open Katara saw Aang all beaten up and found the words to say

"you...selfish...bastard" and ran to hug him

Suki got Aang out using her years of "training" in the arts of stealth and the gang got back to the school and Katara got a chuck water and healed Aang's scars very fast and gently, all but the bleeding cut in the side of his chest...it was too deep and when she couldn't heal it as much, she wrapped the chest with bandages and hugged Aang so tight while kissing him

"Aang you selfish...boyfriend..." Katara cried

"h-how d-did y-you-"

"shhhhhh...you need rest" Katara gestured and layed him down to get rest 

"the nightmare is finally over rest sweetie...i love you."
