Chapter 23 - Pool Party

Katara finished hugging Aang and kissed his forehead and hugged everyone as thanks and it was time to start the pool party.

The gang were chilling in the pool while adults in the hot tub

"why didn't your father come?" Katara asked Zuko

"oh...business" Zuko looked away

"well you invited me zuzu" said a voice, Aang couldn't notice

"what are you doing here Azula!" Zuko looked back

"to enjoy this water peas- i mean this girl's birthday and u get me a towel" Azula gestured to Ty Lee

Zuko sighed 

"here Azula" Ty lee cart wheeled to her with her towl

"i asked for the towel not a show" Azula rolled her eyes trying to hide her blushing 

Katara looked at Aang with his arm over her and looked down

"Hey! why don't we play volleyball!" Katara exclaimed 

The gang and Azula's gang agreed and they got a net and volley ball and set it all up and started with a hit to the ball and they started, and in the end Azula's team won and Mai went to her boyfriend, watching them making Zuko roll his eyes and the parents went to cook a feast, Suki went to Toph to talk and Sokka went to his dad. And Azula went to Ty lee to talk.  While Aang and Katara went to talk with drinks in their hand

"Aang how much did this all cost?" Katara asked drinking

"don't worry about it ~" Aang winked

Katara put down her drink and water bended in Aang face and ran and Aang chased her and when he caught her, he carried her and tickled her neck making her laugh and they repeated the game. The others seeing how much fun they had got water balloons and starting  throwing it making a water balloon fight and after the parents hearing the racket they made them go to the dinner table were Aang licked his mouth due to Gyasto serving him his favourite food, the table was full of delicious food which Sokka licked too and Suki rolled her eyes. After the big feast the gang hugged their parents goodbye (all but Zuko, Azula, Ty Lee etc) and went back to their rooms. 

"Katara change into going out cloths!" Aang said taking his shirt off

"why?" Katara yelled to the other room

"i have another surprise ~" Aang mentioned

Katara looked at the wall dividing them and smiled while Aang did the same

10 mins pasted and Katara got ready and they walked to the shopping centre where they went to the last floor where the cinema was 

"a cinema! oh how thoughtful Aang! what are we watching?" Katara looked at him

"are you scared of horror movies" Aang moved closer to Katara's face

"of course not" Katara looked away blushing

Aang smiled and grabbed her hand and they got the tickets as well as popcorn and drinks and sat down

"so what's it about" Katara asked Aang

"let the movie tell you ~" Aang winked

"i hate it when you do that" Katara leaned back in her seat crossing her arms

The horror movie played and while in the middle a jump scare happened making Katara scream and hide in Aang making him surprised

"so your not scared?" Aang teased

Katara held tighter as the movie screamed and Aang smiled and hugged her and after the movie was over Katara was tired and when they went to their room she slipped on some pjs and collapsed on the bed and Aang watched her

"happy birthday Katara"

Then he red a book and slept. But in the middle of the night Katara had a dream that she was in that horror movie and woke up screaming

"Katara!" Aang got up

"are you okay Katara?" Katara buried herself  in Aang as he asked

Aang hugged her and kissed and hugged again till she slept in his arms and when she did he rested his head on Katara hugging her.
