Lily's POV.

Funny how people can underestimate someone. Especially when it comes to strength. Sometimes not everyone is born a hero....I mean just look at me for example, I was a ding dong coward......I mean BEFORE.

Don't you dare think am still a coward. Yes, you better not Venessa lane because I am more stronger than ever now, sometimes pain only leaves you to find your inner strength.

Pain shatters you to regain yourself, your self respect and inner strength.

Venessa sat Infront of me with a stupid smirk. I ignored her completely because she doesn't deserve a second look from me whether withering or a glare, she just doesn't deserve my time.

I focused completely on my keyboard typing loudly as I went along with my work.

She let out a short with a hint of surprised laugh. "How cruel is destiny?, you know the saying...life gives us a second chance".

I ignored her, if not because I can't help the fact that whether I like it or not I just have to hear her.... because I have ears.

Right now I wish I don't. but God am still grateful. what would I be without my ears.

Anyway....the point is I ignored her.

"Lily cruise, lily cruise, you have changed so much. Even your whole self has changed".  she laughed so hard that she held her stomach. I knew she was mocking my past.

"So Lily cruise can actually change". she said between laugh but she suddenly frowned and said

"Wait...wait...wait who did you give those 1950's pajama jeans" she laughed again this time harder than before.

I clenched my jaw trying to show not even the slightest of offence but if she pushes me more than I can take... I will show her the unexpected.

"Ok...ok jokes apart, like I said, life being so kind gave me a second choice to see you Lily. The same Lily who I have some unfinished business with".

I didn't even look at her so I couldn't tell if she was smirking or smiling deviously like she always does..... seriously get a life woman.

She gasped. "Do you remember that one time I kidnapped you, you were so cute and innocent and I would like to crush all your dreams and shatter every single one of any good thing coming your way"'. She spoke the last part like a creep.

Well...she is a creep, a very very creepy annoying creep.

I sigh mentally, a very hurtful sigh. My ears are literally bleeding from hearing all this nonsense. Poor things.

I glanced at my watch, phew!! It's my lunch break.

I closed the file infront of me and kept it aside, closing the computer, I stood up to leave the stage for the almighty clown to embarrass herself to the rest of the audience.

Am sure the files and chairs with a table would be more than happy to listen to her madness.

Reaching for the door knob. She grabbed my wrist. "Don't you dare leave when I am speaking, don't forget that I have all the power in the world to make you lose your job". She whispered in a frustrated tone.

"If you don't take your hand off of me now then I swear I will break it and shove it off your stinking ass" I said with gritted teeth.

Damn right! Her stinking ass. And I can do it alright then she will be walking with an arm sticking out of her.. forget it.

I could feel the fear and shock I gave her and I saw the effect too because she immediately took her hand off me. Not that she retreated but she realeased her grip on me and her hand hanged above mine.

"OFF" I said almost yelling as I turn and shoot her the most deadliest glare I have ever given.

Her eyes screamed fear and she stepped back keeping her hands beside her.

I twisted the door knob and walked out leaving her mouth hanging and her eyes wide out.

There's more to come Venessa lane, my silence should never be considered weakness.

But I know she can make me lose my job.. and why not?. She consider me an enemy and I consider her one too. With a piping hot sauce on top.

Ok...what am I saying!

I hate her, that's the point, she's a rich girl with a rich father. Even if she's as dumb as a board. She can still get any job anywhere.

But why here?.

If you think about it, it's like my life is being controlled by an evil remote.

I mean seriously, just when everything is falling into place for me, my past suddenly just appeared with an unfinished business.

What do people want from me? Is it that hard to be happy?.

The only difference is that BC and Adrian aren't here... otherwise. Hey! Perfect, what a reunion of hell.
