The squeaking of the stairs louding as I step on them. The place hasn't changed one bit, not that I was expecting it to change and even if it has, I don't have the mind to observe anything.

My dad's sister lived here in Seattle in a peaceful place, a little far from town with alot of woods alone after her husband died. She doesn't have a child of her own and as my dad would tell me, she had always wanted my dad to bring me to live with her but he refused every time.

He's just scared that she might get tired of taking care of me and leave me to suffer, he's insecure and over protective of me. He's the best dad ever.

I was about to knock when the door was yanked open by my dad. A warm and calming smile made it's way to my lips.

"Dad" I almost yelled before hugging him and making him stumble a little How I missed this hug.

"Careful there champ, your dad is old now remember" He said and chuckle

"I missed you so much" I whispered inhaling his scent, which is my home .

"I missed you more lily" He kissed my hair.

"Will you let her hug her aunt now or what?" I pulled away from dad when I heard my aunt's voice.

She stood hands akimbo with a small smile. I almost ran to her and hugged her too. It's been so long I saw her.

I could hear bc and dad exchanging pleasantries when my million dollar smile disappeared into thin air.

"You" I shouted and stepped back.

I got so shocked that I kept tilting my head giving everyone a shocked look especially my dad.

"What the f*!" I exclaimed

How did she get here?" I asked no one in particular.

"I thought I told you to let her rest first. Woman do not make me throw you out" my aunt yelled harshly slapping her forehead.

"I am sorry. I just couldn't wait to see my...

"MY daughter, You mean my daughter" dad cut her off with a dead glare.

"You know her" I asked with my head bowed down, tears dropping onto the floor.

"I don't" he replied and I raised my head to look at him.

"She's nobody lily and she's definitely not your mother" he added looking into my eyes. His eyes showed so much pain of a memory that doesn't seem to fade.

Mrs tombson began to sob loudly
"I have made a grave mistake and I don't deserve your forgiveness but ever since you helped a woman in need, I realized how good of a heart you have".

" Help. What help?" My aunt asked.

"Lily gave her blood just a few days ago. She had an accident"
bc answered and came to stand behind me. I lean on him

"Accident? But she told me she was dying and that it's her last days to live that is why I let her into my house" aunt said sounding a little confused but angry.

"So you used your old deceitful ways to get into my house." He scoffed.

"I wasn't expecting nothing less. And I told you not to let her in" he tilted his head and glared at my aunt.

"Lily please"
She moved closer and I raised a hand at her. She stopped

"Is it only after she donated her blood to you that you remembered you had a daughter, now I get it, that is the reason why you ran away from us at the ice cream parlor. Am sorry but you are shame to all mother's" BC said shaking his head in disgust

She looked briefly at him before bowing her head down. Her shoulders vibrates as she continue to cry.

"Get her out of my self sight" I ordered with gritted teeth.

"Gladly" my dad grabbed her arm and pulled her to the door before throwing her out and slamming the door at her face.

"Hear me out please" she called out.

We all ignored her.

I fell to the on my knees as my body just gave out. I feel so much pain and anger, I was afraid I will commit murder if that woman wasn't taken out of my sight and I will not regret it.

Dad hurriedly walked to me and went on his knees too. He placed my head on his chest as I cry silently.

I feel so many painful emotions that I cannot even use my already nothing less than lifeless body to cry loudly.

"I don't want to ever see her dad. I hate her, I swear I do" I said weakly.

He caressed my head and placed his chin on my head.
"I know baby, I do too and you don't have to see her. She doesn't deserve to even set her eyes on you. She's no one".

There was a few seconds of silence and then we all heard her scream.

We rose to our feet in a jiffy and the house fell dead silent.

"Georrrrrrrrrgeee!!!" It came again and my dad hurried to the door with bc.

As soon as the door opened there was a bright light as bright as the sun that could blind anyone and everyone.

We all fell to our feet when it hits our eyes making us scream.

It slowly faded after that and I tried opening my eyes only to find myself blinded.
