Kendrick's POV

"Fired?".

The two of them turn to look at me, the lady's eyes scanned me from head to toe then back to lily and she gave her a look I can only explain as an amazed one.

"You are fired Lily?" I asked again because I didn't get any reply here people.

"What No, I didn't get fired". she quickly shook her head and waved it off.

"But she said.."

"She, oh you mean Chloe, She's like that, she pulls my leg all the time". she huffed and smiled.

A weak smile that shouted lies.

I looked over at the Chloe girl and she looked confused.

Why is lily lying to me?, What is worrying her. Why does her eyes say the opposite of her mouth.

I couldn't help it and I don't know why I did it but I did. I walked over to lily and she looked up a little at me. I hugged her.

I felt she needed it and I just hugged her. She really hasn't changed at all, she think she can handle everything herself, she wants to be strong and fight all her battles. She's use to not getting any help and I see that.

I know she was going to respond to my hug, I just didn't expect the respond I got because she wrapped her hands around me and hugged me tightly burying her face deeper into my neck with soft breath.

She feel tensed and I could feel it as well as see it.

"Now tell me the truth" I demanded and took her to a chair and sat her down.

Her friend brought a glass of water and she gulp it all down.

She took off her glasses and looked into my eyes then she looked away and nodded.

"Why, what happened?" I asked gently.

"Just a couple of intolerable mistakes". she shrugged.

"Meaning?".

"Bc, let's not talk about it. I don't wanna talk about it" she Sighed.

"It's okay everything will be fine" I pat her back gently.

"Such magic your aunt has worked on you, you not so shy you". she nudge me. All of a sudden her face turned the brightest as she put on her glasses back.

I grin "what?"

"You know what I mean" she said joked.

I glanced a the watch, I completely forgot about time And it's late. Ma will be waiting

" I should go, it's late"
  I said and looked at my watch again.

"Ok" she smiled and stood up. We walked to the door and I hugged her briefly before letting go I whispered.

"Am very happy today lily. Am glad I found you again and don't worry I am here, everything will be fine".

"I know" she whispered back. "You are back now".

"Take care".

"Bye" she waved.

Lily's POV.

How I wish I could tell him that Venessa is the reason why I got fired.

I didnt want to just  disclose all my problems to him just yet. It's too soon

And it's clear, he think they have all found their route in life which they should do.

But why is Venessa still in my life. This is so complicated and not fair. What will I tell my dad, I still need to send him money after all.

I have to start looking for a new job before end of this month, and I really hope Venessa doesn't find out. During highschool she and Adrian always figure out exactly where bc and I were. Just so they could trouble us.

Wait, wait right there just a minute.

Bc and I, Venessa and Adrian figuring out just where we are in order to trouble us....get it???

Bc and I are together again now so does that mean Venessa and Adrian.... Just so they could trouble Us?.
