Kendrick's POV.

And there stand my aunt and grey.

My blood started boiling by the sight of them. I tighten my grip on my the bag I was carrying.

Everyone stood on their heels for in shock of seeing them all of a sudden.

Grey took her hand and they began to walk in slowly towards me with guilt and tears on my aunt's face.

"Stop right there". Ma raised a stern voice and came to stand beside me.

They stopped walking and their eyes focused on me completely. What are they even thinking coming here, I dislike the sight of them so much that a single word cannot form talkless of falling from my mouth.

"What are you doing in my house?" Ma asked in an angry voice.

"Please just hear us out". Grey begs.

"Get out!" Ma ordered.

"Please brother". Grey looked at me with guilty eyes. His voice and face are pleading for mercy.

"Don't you dare call me that". I was surprised at my tone of voice, It was calm but daring.

He folded his hands Infront of me ready to plead when I raised my hand at him. Warning him not to say a single word.

I turn to my ma, she looked very annoyed at their presence like she was ready to rip my aunt's hair off.

I gave her a small smile to calm her down.

"Get the hell outta my house". I said slow and calm but with gritted teeth, They know better. After saying that I walked pass them and lily followed without a word.

I couldn't stand their presence for even a minute, what do they expect that they would show up with sad little tears and I would just forget everything.

How can I forget so many years of punishment for nothing, beating for a small mistake, starvation and sleeping in a dark room by the mere mistake of letting Grey's old workout clothes tear.

My aunt, my only blood never cared about me for once since I moved in with them, i got shouted at for someone else's mistake. And now that am happy, and strong they just show up.

I just hope they get out of my house before I come back otherwise I would do things I will not regret even later.

I was silent all the way to the office and so was Lily and I appreciated that, I don't want to burst my anger out on her.

But someone else sure is gonna get it.

As soon as I reached the office with my usual frown. Today it was a genuine one, I called a meeting along with my private investigator to find out more about scar.

"What do you think his next move is?" One of my employee asked and that gave others the go ahead.

"Sir, in which way has this company ever wronged him,  maybe he lost so many clients before because of you sir?".

"Sir..."

"Enough" I raised my voice.

"Sir, sir, sir everytime it's not what you are here to tell me. I want all of you to shut up so I listen to something important here". They all nod and some looked down.

"Now tell me" I motioned for my private investigator to talk.

" Sir, according to my investigation he is a very powerful man and not even all of his client has ever seen him to know who exactly he is. He is secretive about everything he does. Sir I think we need to go under cover". I listened to him and ran my hand through my thick hair. He's right I need someone to go under cover for me since scar is so secretive, I will just have to use his own way to get to him.

I realeased a heavy breath, all the pressure seems to want to make my head stop working. But that's not gonna happen.

Kendrick Hart will always fight back now. No matter what!

I sat back down on my spinning chair massaging my forehead slightly. But who can go undercover for me, I need someone who knows what he's doing and can think fast, someone who can do it on the sly

The day went by more quickly than I thought, there wasn't much work at the office since I ordered someone to find me who can go undercover and is good at it. I talked to some clients and directed them to lily to fix the right date and time for our next meeting that is convenient for them.

She didn't talk much to me all day except work related issues, I like that she's fast and serious. A few times I caught her off guard staring at me warily.

"Why are they still here?". This time my voice was raised. "I told them to get out of here".

"Ask your dad that, I told you Rick wouldn't be happy about this. Didn't I?" Ma threw her hands in the air and glared at dad.

"I only think everyone deserves a second chance, if they are regretting everything they did then Rick should find it in his heart to forgive them". dad encouraged.

I groan fighting the urge to scream my head off. Can my day get any worst, I walk to the bed and sat feeling frustrated.

Dad came and sat beside me. "You are not the same kendrick anymore and everyone could see that, You are my son now and am very proud of what you are now and what you will always be. Forgiving them won't make you live the same live or see them everyday, but let it go. You will see the benefits later on". He advices and tapped my shoulder standing up.

"Think about it". He added, slowly walking out.

Ma hissed, "Yeah think about it if you ever want to forgive that awful woman". she growl and left.

I don't want to forgive them and there's no thinking about it. If my ma and dad never took me away from there, who knows maybe I would have been dead by now.

Why should I forgive them? What difference will it even make. None.

I took my time to freshen up before leaving my room for the living room.

As soon as I stepped inside, my aunt ran and grab my left leg weeping.

"Forgive me nephew please". she cried.

I jerk my left leg away from her clutch fuming.

" Forgive you for what aunt?, What did you do?" I bent down to her level and ask softly.

"Everything, pleeassee." she folded her hand and sobbed loudly.

"What everything?, Tell me what you did wrong?" I asked again wanting her to keep begging and mention every single thing she knew she did to me that was bad.

"Speak up" I yelled and her cry took a new start. Grey rushed to her and I raised a hand at him

"Tell me what you did wrong aunt". I commanded in a soft tone.
