Kendrick's POV.

I told her! I told her everything I know. And I got suprised at how she reacted, calm but also suprised and confused.

I told her the truth that I really am not sure who scar is but I think I just might know who scar is.

(Read it again if you don't get it!).

To me scar is just a man with a hidden motive out there to get revenge and revenge in the sense that he wants to destroy me and everything I own and love, I think that's really just it. That's what I can wrap my head around.

And as for Lily, I am not sure if he's in love with her or just trying to play with her mind. What has his revenge got to do with strange letters that shows he's in love with her.

I knew it, the more you think of it. The more confused it gets.

I told her that scar knew both of us and was directly or indirectly communicating with us at the same time at the same place but in different situations.

The most confusing thing here for me is Why us? I have never wronged anyone before and am sure lily hasn't too.

And that is why I have just one person in mind. Come to think of it his name is _SCAR_.

Who is our only enemy that knows and hates the both of us?.
Who's dad is also very rich and am sure by now must have gained more power.

Who was it that kidnapped us and ended on fire, scars are a reminder, a memory of a painful incident that's gone but left behind a reminder.

SCAR is none other than ADRIAN MILLER.

I know it, I feel it and I will prove it and that's exactly what I told lily.

I honestly didn't expect her to be that calm after I told her that but she was although her body turned cold and she tensed.

She became so confused and started throwing questions I don't have answers to yet. I told her everything will be alright and no harm will come to her, I assured and promised to get to the bottom of it all.

My eyes widen when I saw Venessa lane Infront of me after all this years. My eyes were fighting their socket to fall.

I knew eventually it was gonna happen since lily told me about their encounter, I knew I might bump into her someday and that day was today! Unfortunately.

"Hii lily" she said with a cheerful voice. Like she's sooo happy and excited to meet us here today. #scoff#.

Lily glared deadly at her and also feigned the excitement. "Hey there!".

"How ya doing, you know after you have lost your job and all" Venessa asked clearly mocking lily but her smile is intact.

"As you can see she's doing very fine and happy". I replied for Lily when she was about to open her mouth.

My jaw clench and I looked directly into her eyes. I think we all have some unfinished business.

"Ahhh..Kendrick, Why am I not surprised?, Clearly you two are birds of the same feather". She said with no emotions.

"That's alright because we can fly away together too, we don't stay in an unwanted environment not moving on from or growing up. We don't live in a circle you see". Lily hit her hard with a comeback.

"Lily! Always the funny one, I would stay here and list all the times you have cried and lose and got beaten up, cried and almost got raped by a thug bu.." Before she could complete it. Lily's hand made contact with her face and I smirked.

"You mean that kind of pain? Or should I add more so that you could illustrate to the public what pain really means" lily said with gritted teeth.

I just chuckled without moving an inch. I knew lily could handle her, and I don't touch girls.

She glared at me and I raised my hands in surrender and winked at her.

"You..." She started raising her hand in the air to retaliate but I stopped her and grabbed her hand mid air.

"Don't you dare think about it" I snap and whispered to her face with a jaw so hard that she trembled.

"If you dare lay a finger on lily then I swear I am going to make you cry for the rest of your miserable life".

Her eyes bulged out and she yanked her hand away. People froze all staring at us.

She packed her little shame and walked away with loud clicking of heels.

I hiss, I wasn't expecting any better from her. I knew she hasn't changed and I am coming for both of them.

Or should I say scar is coming for me soon. He has no idea.

We ignored the eyes of people digging holes into our bodies as we ate our ice cream like nothing happened.

What? We aren't gonna waste our time and energy sulking or thinking about what just happened are we?.

There's no way I will let our moods get ruined.

"We could have just gone shopping?" I told her again.

"That's not necessary, when we are at the door step".

"Lily do you really need all those things, I thought you packed all your stuff before we left. I whined as she manage to open the door to her apartment.

All of a sudden she wanted to get all of her things today and now. I thought she packed all her bags but what do I know.

The door opened and she pushed it to go in but she stumble backwards immediately the door opened.

My face creased. What is it now?

I marched forward to take a peep.

There stand a big cardboard hanging on the wall. It says

"You  all are invited!"
